1970 Dodge Challenger Description

70 Challenger with big block 400, 4 barrel with electric choke, dual exhaust-chrome tips& cross over or H pipe, 727 automatic transmission buckets seat slapstick console, A/C is complete but not working andall gooddash vents-none broken, Power Steering, Power Drum Brakes, Day/Night rear view mirror. Car is very complete but not all parts are not original to the car,missing onlyA/C duct under steering column and inside console lidcatch. Has bumper jack non-correct jack hook but worksand spare tire. Complete front, rear seatbelts and shoulder belts. Everything works on the car except A/C and manual windshield washer.All gauges, dummy lights, dashdimmer lightswitch, dash lights, map light, trunk light, delay key and dash light,turn signals, reverse or backup lights, key buzzer, wipers, horn andmint AM correct chrome buttonradio withrear speaker and do work. Car runs and drives great for an older restoration back in late 80's, doesnot smoke or any knocks, accelerates nice, has plenty of power, runs very cool no overheating, trans shifts andkicks down like it should,dual exhaust is not loud at all.I have been driving the Challenger around town and on the freeways with no problems. New gas tank, ignition-door-trunk locks, glove box liner,battery, battery tray, battery hold down, all new correct OEM style emergency brake cables, brake shoes, rebuilt distributor, sparkplugs, sparkplug wires and belts. Front tires are like new and rears have a lot of thread but are older.Challenger was originally 318 and body paint was Bright Burnt Orange Metallic with Black Vinyl Topand Burnt Orange interior, has original fender tag. Body is straight with some dings and small dents, paintlooks OK fromabout 50 feet, paint has spots and crackinglooks like from being old and lower quality, not from any bondo. lt is asolid car, good floors, doors, fenders,rocker panels, trunk drops and rearquarters. Rear lower window edgeand a couple of small area's on trunk floor have been cosmetically filled and touched-up from rust. Small hole under battery tray looks like from a bad battery.Mechanically sound in my opinion with some oil leak. Good car to restore or use as is.
