1952 Dodge Coronet All Original
1952 Dodge Other Description
I have a 1952 Dodge Coronet 98% original condition (The 2%: red seat covers, new 6 volt reverse gnd voltage reg. new tires, battery, etc.) The seats under the covers are in perfect condition, I just never bothered to remove them. The clock does not work, and I'm not sure why the radio doesn't work (probably needs a vacuum tube or two). Fuel gauge does not work- needs a new fuel tank sending unit. Other than that everything works perfect. New brakes. Transmission shifts perfect (Gyromatic Semi-auto) All the fluid levels are up to par. Engine runs great and cruises down the freeway nicely. 66,xxx original miles. The engine smokes a little when you first start it, but clears up after a while. It does burn minimal oil. Always stored inside or under an eve because the front cowl vent leaks water. Paint is not perfect and it shows 58 years of wear. (scratch on front pass fender, damage to the rear drivers fender) There is a little rust under the drivers floor by the master cylinder. I will take more pictures upon request. I've driven this car in the 50's parade a few times, I know it's very reliable. I have driven it to CDA (90 miles round trip) with no issues. I also have a video posted on the internet I will provide the link to serious buyers.Thank you!Any questions, please ask!
