1998 Dodge Ram 1500 BOSS SNOW V PLOW LARAMIE 4x4 TRUCK Description

Available for your consideration is a 1998 Dodge Ram 4x4 powered by a 5.2L V8 engine with an automatic transmission. A very good running truck. I have had many items done over the past year to this truck including gas tank straps, oil pan, steering pump, brake lines, all new shocks all the way around, new muffler, repaired right exhaust manifold leak, distributor cap, rotor including a tuneup. I also had the plow repaired with a new motor installed on the plow. This is a Boss V-plow 8.2 feet plow. The last snow plow I jammed theright side of theplow and have not freed it up since winter ended. This is an absolute dream to plow with. The Boss plow makes snow plowing easy. This truck is a great plow truck. The engine is the very reliable 5.2 V8 that starts with ease and runs great. The automatic transmission shifts smooth & great. 4 Wheel drive works great. This is a snow plowing machine. It will push the snow!!! The truck will need an exhaust pipe I had the muffler replaced but the exhaust got loud and it is where the flange bolts together you will need the pipe from the exhaust manifold to the mid pipe. The tires were replaced a few years back and few miles put on the truck since. The suspension was all upgraded few years back to a HD 2500 with all the springs replaced. Thistruck does not squat at all when theplow is lifted the truck does sit much higher than stock the only draw back is mounting the plow the plow needs to be sitting on a skid to make mounting easy due to the height.. This is the ultimate plow truck in the last year quite a bitof money was spent getting this truck to where it is today a very reliable plow truck. The body and bed is rusty. The rockers are gone. The bed and cab mounts are strong and the frame is very strong the truck sits straight as it should and the truck drives very good. If your looking for a workhorse this Dodge Ram will do thejob..Winters come around before you know it. This was previously my friends truck for many years and about3-4 years ago he sold it to me. I just thought it would be very handy to keep my lot plowed and my sons could plow and make money with it well they never seem to have time to make money..lol..My landlord keeps my business lot plowed so the trucks sits and I maintain it. I just recently replaced the battery with a new one also. If you don't mind the body rust you will not be disappointed in this truck at all. Been times that I thought this truck has such a great engine, drivetrain and chassis to pull the bed and cab and put a southern setup on it. It is honestly well worth it or leave it alone and get years of a good workhorse just the way it is. Your choice... Either way can't go wrong a little rust and paint fade will hurt no one. The inside of thetruck is very clean and odor free. The seat is in very good shape with a little tear starting on thedrivers side but that is aboutit.. I have a clear Ohio title ready for transfer.. A $99.95 Document and title transfer fee will be added to the final auction price. I am a licensed Ohio dealer. All vehicles sold to Ohio residents must pay sales tax.
