2003 Dodge Ram 3500 Description

I recently bought this Truck from the original owner who bought it right off the show room floorat a cost of $56,000. He said He mainly used it to run from Michigan to Alabama to pull his horse trailer. He said He had absolutely no trouble with the truck until it hit 264,000 miles when it would not start. That's when I bought it from Him not knowing what was wrong. I took it to a shop and He said it needed the cp3 pump so while it was there I had him replace the injectors as well as the fuel feed tubes and the cp3 pump. That cured it and it starts and runs great. I have put close to 2000 miles on it . I also put a new muffler and tail pipe as well as new brakes on the rear and a new center support bearing . I also had the frame reinforced. The truck will run down the expressway doing 70 and get over 20 miles to a gallon. The bad about this truck is the rocker panels are rusty as well as the cab corners. If your looking for a good work truck a lot cheaper then what these sell for this is the truck for you. These motors are known to go a million miles. So this one has a lot of life left in it now that the pump and injectors have been changed . You can buy one with less miles but its just a matter of time before you will have to spend the kind of money that I just spent. This can cost between $3000 to $6000 or more depending on where you have it done. It would be great if you could come by and check it out and drive it before you bid. .
