1970 Dodge Dart Description

Up for bid is a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 340, 4-speed, 8 3/4 3.23 sure grip rear. This is a real H-code 340 car and suppose to have matching number motor. The person I got the car from had it since 1979. The car has been sitting off the road since 1983 and needs a total restoration. FE5 Rally red paint. Car is mostly all complete, missing the exhaust manifolds and front engine pullys. The radiator is out of car, but I have it and is correct one for car. The body is rough, needing just about everything. The front frame rails under the floor pans are rusted out but rear rails are good. The driver side lower firewall is also rusted out down where it meets floor pan. The trunk pan is not that bad, most of it can be saved. All the glass and trim are good. The good news is a pair of NOS quarter panels go with car. Yes, real mother Mopar NOS quarter panels. These were purchased by previous owner in 1983 at a local Dodge dealer. The original shipping sticker is still on the inside of the panel and they are in beautiful condition. There are pics of them. I also have good usable front fenders and a solid hood that goes with car. The hood is dented on the left front side where the hood is rounded, but I think it can be fixed. The dart has the fresh air hood, missing the air cleaner. Has front disc brakes also. There is also another car that goes with the dart. A 72 Duster shell that has nice solid frame rails and also a solid firewall and driver side inner fender that you can use for the dart.. This is a non rolling shell that is stripped of all parts including the front and rear suspension. The Dart has the fender tag and dash vin tag. plus the build sheet is still under seat but is very dry rotted. I didn't try to take it out because it most likely would fall apart. This is a total resto car is rough, but there are some good parts and a good doner car to go with it. And there aren't many H-code 340 darts left ouy there. If car sells, there is a $500 deposit paid by Paypal and the balance by cash in hand when car is picked up. I am located in northern New Jersey. I have pics of the duster's shell frame rails and firewall, also the rad support which is super solid that you will need since the dart's is rotted out. I can send these pics to anybody that wants to see them.
