1968 Dodge Charger Description

1968 Dodge Charger 440 not RT original 383
Newer 440 (about 1200 miles on build)
727AT w/ Manual Valve Body
8 3/4 Sure Grip Rear End
Car has a lot of bells and whistles way too may to list. 440 has pretty hefty cam but still runs on pump gas, not sure on exact particulars was on car when I bought it. Exhaust is 4" Borla that comes out the sides. This car is an older restoration California show car. Almost everything on this car was made to be operated with a remote along with the door poppers. I never really use any of them. There's instructions and a certain button combinations but I never lock up the car. Car never sees weather and has zero rust. No windshield wipers so no driving in rain. Mechanically car is great and starts everytime. Fixed numerous little things the last few years too many to list. At the end of last summer the power windows started acting up. Not sure what it is I haven't looked into it cause they were intermittently working. Car is stored for winter. Let me know what you need info wise and I'll try and get it. Car has custom wheels with 18.5" Mickey Thompson tires power steering, power hood, seats, windows and brakes. I'm not needing or really wanting to sell but wife is pregnant and this ain't a baby hauler and I really won't have time for it the next few years. Car is for sale locally and may end auction early. I will take reasonable offers for the car. Thanks

Carbs are dual 8867 Edelbrocks. The hood is open and closed via a hidden winch system. Had some questions on it. It's a very unique setup. This is operated by use of a switch in the dash or the keychain remote system can also activate it somehow. I never use the keychain method.

I've been asked about the paint. It looks great as you can see from pics. However there is a small chip on one of the front fenders I honestly can't remember which I believe driver and a spider crack on rear top trunk area. On the hood there is some warping of he paint from heat I believe. It is where they patched and painted the hood where the blower used to come out. I posted a couple more pics that show the front areas I'll try and post the rear by tomorrow. They are difficult to see in pics. They are not huge bad areas most people don't see them until I point it out. I'm just trying to be as honest as I can about condition. Vinyl top is great no issues at all. Also feel free to call or txt 812-243-9261 and I can try to answer any questions or send you pics directly. Thanks

Couple additional things the "PUSH OFF" it shows on the rear pic of the car on the trunk is no longer there. Also I was asked if the car was ever raced. The answer is no as far as when I've had it and the previous owner stated he also never raced the car. Just Pro Street looks. Before that the car was just a trailer pony show car from what I was told. There are some old show stickers on the inside of trunk and I have some magazines the vehicle was in. The car does actually have drag bars though that will be provided either the car. They were taken off years ago cause I really didn't like the look of them. If you google purple 1968 charger kimballstock there's one of the old calander pics of the car. I found a bunch one day but can't remember the website. I'll post it later if I can find it

There is no fiberglass in car. I got a call that asked if hood and fenders were fiberglass. The hood is made from an original Charger hood and I added a pic to show even the turn signals are there, however they are not operational
