1998 Ferrari 355 GTS Targa Description

I hate to sell my baby, but I have a pending real estate transaction that I must complete. This is the second Ferrari I have owned and by far the most fun. In my opinion, there is no better classic body style well ahead of its time than the 355 GTS Targa. The GTS is the most desirable with the lowest production numbers and highest re-sale. Unlike some Ferrari owners, I actually drive my Ferrari's. One of the worst things you can do to a Ferrari (Any Auto for that matter) is to let it sit. I would rather have a 30K mileage car than a 15K mileage car. If they sit, the bugs have yet to reveal themselves. My car is in awesome shape for a true Ferrari driver. If you've never driven or ridden in a Ferrari Targa, the engine noise is music to your ears. Much like that of an F1 racer. My 355 GTS is bone stock with the exception of high-flow cats, and aftermarket wheels. It's also important to point out that it also has the lower production colormatched Targa top The late 90's model Ferrari market (in particular the 355 GTS) is trending up. Search eBay for a 355 GTS and you will find prices from $80K-144K. My car had a dash fire in early the early 2000's after which all dash and electrical components were replaced with OEM Ferrari parts. Due to thedifficultyin sourcing these parts, the insurance company decided to write off the vehicle. This is why she has a re-built title. Please note that this is NOT A RESULT OF COLLISION OR BODY DAMAGE. Here is the actual event as reported by Carfax

Again, all components were professionally replaced with OEM. People that don't know the cars history would have no idea that this was ever the case. No signs, smells, etc. of anything. I encourage you to see my car in person. You will not be disappointed. Always stored indoors with included custom cover. The 30K service was completed at 20,685 miles. I actually frive my Ferrari so the belt service issue is way over blown to me. If you let them sit in the garage so that the rubber starts to dry out, that's a whole different story. My car is driven at least twice a month to ensure optimal performance. Everything is operating as it should with one exception. If you know anything about Ferraris, you know they all have common issues. My 355 has the same electronic suspension quirk that is found on 90% of 355s. It's a non-issue, so I have never addressed. I also recently noticed that the hazard lights do not function properly. All other lights, signals, markers, fogs, high and low beams, function properly. Every gauge on the car is also in excellent working condition including the in dash clock. The radio is original OEM. Beautiful car that will turn WAY MORE HEADS than any other car you will find for the same money! No joy rides. Only serious buyers will be taken for a test drive. I'm selling to pursue other real estate projects. Please note that I do not have the stock wheels. Current aftermarket wheels are 19" and the tires are in good shape. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close.
