1985 Ferrari Testarossa Flying Mirror Description
A true Collector-Grade (U.S. 50-State Legal), highly sought-after 1985 Ferrari Testarossa "Flying Mirror" can be yours. This impressive Ferrari is one of only 568 Testarossa's ever produced during the year of 1985. Out of the 568 produced, only 121 examples are US versions, this car being one of them. According to Red-Headed.com (a detailed website about Ferrari), the 1985 Testarossa is the second lowest production Testarossa ever distributed in the United States, making this specific car even more desirable.
Today, the car has been driven only 4,400 miles, as displayed on the odometer. It is also finished in a rare color combination of Prugna Metallic over beautiful Tan Leather. The Testarossa is well known for its dramatic side strakes, which are used to direct air to radiator intakes which in turn generate aerodynamic stability. Plus, this car is iconic for its combination of pure luxury and thrilling speed (top speed of 181mph).
A couple rare characteristics that this immaculate Ferrari holds are the center lock wheels and the desirable, early production single high mirror (also known as the "Flying Mirror"). Both of these are features that were replaced early on in the models run, making this Ferrari significantly more unique then others. A few more features included are its 4,943 CC DOHC flat 12-cylinder engine, Bosch KE-Jetronic fuel injection, 5 speed manual transaxle, 4-wheel ventilated disc brakes, independent front suspension with coil springs and independent rear suspension with twin coil springs. This car also includes all original books, an original flashlight, tools and service records.
This remarkable Testarossa has had only a couple of owners, one of them being a very famous Ferrari collector named John Siroonian. Under professional care, the 1985 Ferrari was subject to an extensive mechanical freshening by Marque experts FAI of Costa Mesa, California. A $20,000 engine-out service, which included brake and clutch hydraulics, timing belt replacement, and fuel injection tuning were all recently completed to prestigious standards. Available for inspection anytime. For more informationabout this vehicle, please contact Conner at (925) 895 7173 or emailconnervkashyap@gmail.com. Serious inquires only.
