European Motor Studio is proud to offer this stunning 1997 Ferrari 355 Berlinetta 6-Speed finished in a very rare color combination of Nero over Grigio Connolly leather. This 355 left the Ferrari production line in April of 1997 and was then invoiced to Ferrari North America. The car sold new by Ferrari of Houston Texas on December 9, 1997 where the car resided for many years until moving to southern CA. The Nero paint finish on the car is original and in stunning condition. Aside from a few typical stone chips on the front nose and hood of the car, the body and paint are in excellent condition showing a beautiful deep luster and shine. The car comes with a clean and clear Carfax and title and there are no signs of any accident damage or repairs anywhere on the car. There is no curb rash on the original Ferrar 5-spoke wheels and the Michelin tires are about 2 years old with about 60% tread life. The very rare Grigio interior is all original and untouched. There are no signs of any dye or repair work on the seats, center consoles, or dash and everything is in exceptional condition. The driver seat bolster shows some slight creasing and the passenger airbag cover shows slight shrinkage. The 5 valve per cylinder Italian bred V8 engine starts right up and sounds superb. The major engine out belt service was completed in September of 2014 by a Ferrari specialist and all documented. There is absolutely no smoke under start up or acceleration and the engine pulls incredibly strong through all of the 6 gears with ease. The typical 2nd gear grind does not exist in this gearbox and all of the gears are easy to place. The clutch feels nice and strong without any signs of slippage. The steering and suspension are solid and tight with no signs of any issues. The brakes have an excellent feel to them and are free from any grinding or fade. All of the electronics are working properly, including the windows, locks, mirrors, AC, headlights, radio, door release, all of the dash and center console lights, gauges, interior lights, and exterior lights are all functioning. There are no dash lights on the gauge cluster and there are no known mechanical issues with the car. Accompanied with this 355 are the original tools in their original leather case, the original owners handbooks, warranty book, dealer book, leather book, service book and leather binding book. All of the original plates and Ferrari stickers are all present on the body and engine compartment. Three Ferrari keys, two black remotes and one red one, the tire repair kit and a thick stack of service records and history are all present with the car.
