1967 Ferrari Other Description

I am selling a gorgeous, just completed Ferrari P4 tribute car built by P4 by Norwood.
This is a top notch recreation of the famous 1967 Ferrari P4's. All parts and pieces are modeled directly after the original cars, except the engine and drivetrain has been modernized with a full Motec ECU package and a modern Ferrari 575 V12 engine with G50 transaxle. All parts of the car except the drivetrain come into the shop as raw material, everything is made in house.
The chassis is a chromoly tube steel frame chassis matching an original and the body is a hand formed aluminum body almost identical to an original down to the rivet counts. All fluid tanks are hand formed aluminum to match the originals, the wheels are cast magnesium and identical to a real car and even the gauges are an exact match to the original gauges.
These cars are a top notch build with no expense spared. They are for the Ferrari lovers that want a P4 that can actually be driven, tracked, and with the low number of P4's built or sold, actually acquired. They are also extremely fast, weighing just 2200lbs and having over 500hp from the naturally aspirated Ferrari 575 Maranello engine. The sound coming from the hand made stainless steel headers is phenomenal.
My client is asking the selling price of a new one right now, however without the 3 year wait of buying one. This vehicle has a clear, normal Texas title. It also includes a year of support from P4 by Norwood as any other new car sold by them. This is a brand new car with only testing miles on it.

P4 Engine Validation Process

Engine selection and validation is paramount in the build process for the P4 by Norwood. A rigorous inspection program that involves pulling the intake manifold and valve covers to inspect every component of the top-end valvetrain – valves, valves springs, cams, etc. On the bottom end the oil pan is removed to inspect the lower sections of the block and the main bearings and rod bearings. Any pieces not in compliance with factory Ferrari specifications are removed and replaced with factory Ferrari parts. In addition to the painstakingly detailed inspection, all assembly hardware is re-electroplated, removing any doubt the donor engine is in impeccable condition before getting acquainted with its new home.

While the oil pan is off, the team makes some minor modifications to better align with fitment of the large V12 in the P4 by Norwood’s mid-engined chassis. The stock oil filter housings are machined off as the lower placement in the chassis compared to the Maranello to prevent any potential clearance issues. To complete the modification new fittings are added in the oil pan to allow remote mounting of the oil filter. The modification also goes beyond safety as the lower center of gravity only adds to the already impressive handling.
