It is with much regrets that Ioffer for sale this beautiful 1998 Ferrari 355 F1 Spider!

This Rosso (red) Ferrari Spider features the Formula 1 style paddle shift gearbox and a black all leather interior and convertible top.

The F355 is considered to be the first 8-cylinder Ferrari that was comfortable and reliable enough for daily driving, (not that you would, but you could), with the addition of power steering, 6th gear, 385hp, power top, power seats, keyless entry with alarm, excellent air conditioning, and the lauded F1 transmission that was first offered on the 98 model.

The factory installed Challenge Grill in the rear is the perfect finishing touch to this perfect car.

This Ferrari was bought in Germany and it was flown to Los Angeles and went to a Federally Licensed Conversion shop (G &K) to make it EPA and CA legal (all documentation and certifications obviously included).

It is CA registered.

BODY

This vehicle has never had a collision or damage of any kind.

The paint on this vehicle is pristine and shines like new - there is only 1 tiny shallow ding (1/8") on the rear left panel and 2 minute 1/2 mm chipped paint spots on the hood. These are invisible unless you know where to look.

The underbody at the front spoiler does have some road scratches which are unavoidable thanks to the bumpy streets of LA which are very unfriendly to low riding cars.

The convertible top is as new and the rear folding window is very clear and free of scratches.

This vehicle looks as new as the day it was first sold.

MECHANICAL

This Euro version of the 355 has a few more horsepower than the regular US version, and this car has amazing acceleration.

The F1 gearbox is awesome - it shifts exceptionally fast and smoothly with no lag. A total joy!

I believe the exhaust is a Tubi. The sound is rich and throaty and a little louder than regular 355's.

This car has just had the full 30K miles service with engine out - documented.

The tires and clutch are brand new with only about 100 miles on them.

INTERIOR

The interior is extra clean.NO sticky parts! Due to the fact that this car was kept under 3 covers in a closed garage and that leather nutrients have been applied on a regular basis, the Leather Interior has held up extremely well, with none of the common shrinkage on the dash and around the ac vents, all the switchgear is in perfect condition with none of the usual tackiness found on Ferraris of this age.

All electrical and optional equipment on this vehicle have been checked and are in perfect working condition.

Comes Complete with all factory covers - 2 car covers, seat covers, wheel cover. The cover for the removable top is also unused. Tool kit is untouched as well as the flat tire repair kit. All the manuals are in the original leather case as well as the tool kit.

This is a perfect 355 and I will be glad to facilitate any inspection you may request (at your expense).
