1984 Fiat Pininfarina Azzurra Spider
1984 Fiat Other Pininfarina Spider Azzurra Description
1984 Pininfarina Spider AzzurraThis is the last version of the Fiat 124 Spider made. From 1983-1985, Pininfarina took over production of the Fiat 124 Spider and rebadged it with their name. This car here was originally sold new and has been in Southern California since day one. Included with the car are the original sales invoice, dealer service book, and extensive records going back to new. The odometer shows 119,925 miles and based on the mileage on service records, it’s believed to be accurate. The car also still wears its original California blue license plate. EXTERIOR
The exterior of the car is in very good condition. At some point it received a high quality repaint in its original Azzurro Metalizato color. It does not appear to have ever been in any accidents – all panels’ line up great and original factory welds can be seen on the seams where panels meet. The bright work on the car is clean and free of any dings and dents. The convertible top is in fantastic shape as is the plastic rear window. The original top boot is in good shape with exception to one split on the seam. There are a couple small dents on the car and can be popped out with a paint less dent remover. There is small spot touched up by the fuel door (see pictures) and the driver side tail light has a crack on the rear corner. The underside of the car is in great shape with no signs of rust or ever any kind of repairs.INTERIOR
The seats, carpets, and door panels are in great overall condition. With exception of a small crack on the dash and a couple on the center console, the rest of the interior is in near perfect shape. There is an aftermarket radio with CD changer in the trunk. I’ve never tried the CD changer, but I do know the radio works fine. The electric windows work, but are slow to go up and down. The original spare wheel/tire, tools, and jack are in the trunk.MECHANICAL
A major tune up/service was recently done on the car. All fluids changed, radiator was sent out to be cleaned, new timing belt, timing belt tensioner bearing, water pump, fuel hoses, air/fuel/oil filters, new set of tires, and alternator belt. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts perfect with no grinding on up or downshifts. The brakes and suspension are in good condition as well the exhaust system.SHIPPING/PAYMENT
