1966 FORD THUNDERBIRD TOWN LANDAU

Sale includes “Bill of Sale” only.

390 V8 engine.

Cruise-O-Matic C6 3 speed automatic Transmission (I was told this, it’s not verified).

Fully loaded car with I believe every option that was available for that year.

Car is complete and unmolested.

Power Windows, I believe even the vent windows are power.

Power Locks, has factory switch on console to operate.

Air Conditioning

Swing away steering wheel column.

Power Bucket Seats.

Rare Side S-bars on roof, only came on the Town Landau models.

Wood grain interior accents on dash, center console and door panels, again, only available on the town version of the Thunderbird of this year.

Black leather interior.

Original ignition key with Thunderbird emblem on it.

Odometer shows about 12000k miles, so figure it’s rolled over and has 112000k

We purchased this car a little over a year ago from a neighbor. It had sat in a shed covered with a tarp for a couple of years before we got it. It did run when parked. Plans to restore it have unfortunately changed.

An attempt was made last week to turn the car over, but when a jump box was hooked to the current battery, we got nothing. No power to anything, no dash lights, no radio, nothing.

There is a good amount of rust on the body of the car, I believe most of it was the result of being covered with a tarp, for when it was first put away, it wasn’t as rusty as it is now.

The underside of the car looks to be in decent shape. The interior and trunk floors seem to be solid. The rockers are in good shape, the underside looks to be in better shape than the sheet metal above.

Included are photos of the underside of the car, please look at all photos carefully.

Interior is in great condition. The black leather seats, both front and back have no cracks in them that I can see. The leather is pliable to the touch.

Carpet is good, but needs to be shampooed.

Upper dash has a couple of cracks in it, but the lower section is nice.

Center console and wood grain trim throughout the car is in good shape.

Door panels are nice as well.

The headliner is not in good shape.

All glass is good.

Original radio.

The car is complete, all bright work is there.

Tail lights which were removed are in the truck.

The car looks to be all original except for the Edelbrock intake and 4bbl Holley carburetor. The original carburetor and air cleaner are also in the trunk. The piece of chrome that is missing from the left rear quarter, is in the truck but is bent.

4 original hubcaps are on the car. There is no spare tire.

The car has both of its rear fender skirts, but they have some rust as well.

Car is sold in as/is where/is condition with bill of sale only, it's located in West Palm Beach Florida.
