"Out with the Old and In with the New"
Now we really can't forget the Legends Shelby has built since 1962. Greats like the Daytona Coupe, the 427 Cobra, and KR's, but when you sit behind the wheelof the new Ford Performance / Shelby collaboration you can immediately tell that you are holding something quite special in your hands.
Every time Iget in one of the "roided" Mustangs,and hit the big red "Start" button I feel the overwhelming urge make the Flat-Plane Crank speak up just a bit. See the GT350 has a neat switch in the center stack that just has a picture of twin exhaust tips. A flip of the switch and the baffles are bypassed and HELLO! Might as well called it angry mode...
With a never ending smile on your face out on the road you can see that this isn't just another Mustang with a big motor in it. For the first time in recent history a factory Mustang gets some clamping power in the rear, provided byBrembo and up frontmassive 15.5"rotors are bear hugged 6 Piston calipers. So this thing goes really fast forward and stops like a cartoon character, but how does it handle? Anyone remember the slot car toys we had as a kid? Yea, it feels like that. Thanks to Fords new MagneRide suspension dampers, wider front track, and heavy duty springs, it has you thinkingthat you really are on a slot car track!
This car is the culmination of years of development from both Shelby and Ford. Yes there is so much more I can say about the car, but honestly if you are looking to invest in one of the most awesome Mustangs to date, I'm sure you have done the research!
