All new tires, all new batteries and glow plugs. Back brakes were leaking prior to putting in new ones so axle work is done. There is no maintenance that I can see it needing besides oil changes for another 200,000 miles. Does not leak fluids.
Lived in Texas, so it has a solid undercarriage. Was owned by the government and maintained and I have had the recent work done by the best diesel mechanic in Oregon, if you inquire I would send you his number and he will vouch that it is mechanically perfect.
This is my baby. Air conditioner is cold, heater is hot, Starts on the coldest days without being plugged in, and drives up hills like a Honda. From my calculations, I was getting about 24 MPG without a load on the highway. '98-'99 were the magical Million Mile Engine years, after the IDI and the 6.0, but before the mechanics became more complicated and with greater longevity than the next few years. I believe this is a once in a lifetime find for a passenger van.
ONLY selling because I had major surgery this winter and I am recovering financially. In fact, I want to be first on the list if you decide to sell! I can have seating for 5, kayaks, bikes and room to sleep. I can pull over anywhere and be completely incognito!

Looks great for a '98, has some cosmetic wear, but overall looks is in amazing shape, with 12 matching seats and 15 belts, These typically are 12 seaters with cargo room, but can hold another bench that backs up to the back doors if you want it to be 15 passenger. I have another bench that is vinyl that you could get a cover for if you wanted to add it.
