1926 FORD MODEL "T" TOURING CAR
1926 Ford Model T Description
This is an original all steel body mounted on the original frame. The vehicle is powered by a 4 cylinder Pinto engine mated to a Ford c-3 automatic transmission. The differential is from an early 50's Ford. The front axle is from a 1940 Ford and includes late 40's hydraulic drum brakes. The car has 15 inch steel wheels and early 50's Ford hubcaps. Steering is done through a Ross steering box. The car has all new shocks. This vehicle is completely street legal and includes high and low beam headlights, tail lights, brake lights, signals, speedometer, a horn, an emergency brake, a hand operated windshield wiper, and seat belts. Exhaust runs through a single Smithy muffler, (sounds like a sport car). The interior is done in a diamond tufted black vinyl. The body is painted satin black and is very solid, but contains a few dents. The front fenders, hood, running boards, (you can jump on them!) and grille shell are all solid and straight. The rear fenders are a bit rough, especially the left side, (see photos). All four doors open and close properly. Also included is a set of top bows for the car, although the material is pretty much rags. The car has a clear Wisconsin title. This car is a lot of fun to drive and gets a lot of attention. I need to sell it to finance and make room for another project. Please email or call 414-810-9316 with any questions or to set up an appointment to view. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
