This is a no reserve auction for this 1930 Ford Model A 45B Business Coupe (non rumble seat., but can be changed.) I bought the coupe in April 2000, and drove it for two years. In 2003 I started to dismantle it for restoration. I have the pictures of the restoration that will go with the coupe. I also have a massive receipts folder that will go with the coupe as well. This car has over $11,000.00 in new parts, paint, and body work. I spared no expense on the quality of what I put in to it. All of the metal fill, metal fab, and fiberglass work was done by me before finish body work and paint. The paint is PPG DP90 suede black. There is no bondo on this coupe! I finished the restoration on the coupe in August 2005, that same month we drove it to Detroit, MI. to the Woodward Dream Cruise on a shake down run. It was a 600+ mile round trip with no incidents. The coupe has been driven less than 400 miles between 2006 to 2016. It has only been driven to local car shows and cruise-ins. This coupe has been babied and well maintained by me. The coupe has had the oil changed every other year regardless of the mileage. The last major service work on the coupe was Spring-Summer 2013, I had the front end bearings and alignment, brake light switch, rear end fluid, new front shocks and new front coil springs, and oil changed. I will be glad to go in to detail on the restoration as I am the person that built this coupe. This Hotrod has won trophies at car shows, and receives a lot of compliments. This coupe still shows excellent as it has been driven very little. It drives straight and smooth down the hi-way. It has a 355 C.I. .030 over 350 Chevy small block, TH350, B&M shift kit, Edelbrock 750 CFM carburetor, Ford posi traction rear end with 4 link, Ford front end (tight/no play steering.) The coupe has header cut out plates that can be removed for that loud open header sound. No electrical issues, all components work as they should. Some of the new items installed on the coupe: Holly electric fuel pump, New AFCO aluminum radiator, New transmission cooler, Cool Flex Hoses, dropped headlight bar and pads, King Bee headlights, New grille shell-stainless steel insert-bug guard combo, New BF Goodrich matching tires, red powder coated steelies, '41 Ford script Coker hubcaps, LaBarron Bonney top kit, new running boards, new '39 tail lights, new fuel entry system with tank hose, new bucket seats, new stainless overflow tank, new hood bars, 2 new glass windows, and many other upgrades. I just had the oil and filter changed on 7/23/2016 (I will provide the receipt), a new battery installed 7/17/2016 (will provide receipt), TH350 tail shaft seal replaced and transmission fluid changed in April 2016. This is a turn key Hotrod ready to be enjoyed. Starting bid will bethousands below insurance appraisal. I encourage inspection of this vehicle by third party companies or by perspective bidders. I have a clear Indiana title in hand. Bid with confidence as this is an outstanding opportunity to own that hotrod you have always wanted. Terms of sale: cash (cash transaction will be completed at my bank), or certified bank check (the car will leave after the check clears at my bank.) My bank will issue to you a money transaction receipt at your request. I will also issue a sales receipt with the title to the buyer at vehicle release. The buyer is responsible for local pickup and or shipment of the car. There is no warranty expressed or implied on this 1930 Ford Coupe. I reserve the right to end this auction early as the vehicle is for sale locally. Thank you for looking at my 1930 Ford Coupe Hotrod.
