2002 Ford E350 1 Ton Extended 8 to 15 Passenger or Cargo Van Runs Great!
2002 Ford E-Series Van Description
I purchased this van earlier this year specifically for a mountain bike trip we were going on out in Colorado. We drove it 3,200 miles and it ran flawlessly, even through the mountains. I was going to sell it when we got back but then decided to use it for our family vacation to transport bikes and kayaks. I put another 600 miles on it and again, it worked perfectly. I would have no hesitation to drive it across country tomorrow.
It is the extended chassis and can be set up to carry 15 people but the two rear bench seats have been removed so in current form it will carry 8 persons and a ton of luggage, etc. I've had 4 bikes in the back but it will easily accommodate 6 or 7. I used a Thule gutter mount roof rack and had 2 single kayaks plus a tandem on the top. I will sell the roof rack for an additional $100 if the high bidder wants it. Van includes a 2 inch, class IV receiver hitch.
Not looking for an adventure vehicle? Remove the other two bench seats and you have a great cargo work van. Ten foot sheets of drywall fit without a problem.
Again, the van runs great. The transmission works as it should. There are no fluid leaks. There are no dash warning lights on. All the gauges and lights work as they should. Air is ice cold and has a separate control for the passengers.
Work that has been done: The previous owner had a new coil, spark plugs, air filter and one tie rod end replaced last year. The front shocks and springs are relatively new although I don't know exactly when they were replaced. Before our trip, I put on all new 10 ply tires and had the front brakes completely gone through including pads, rotors, calipers and wheel bearings. Headlights are new, as are the wiper blades.
What it needs: The windshield wiper fluid cap has been missing since I've owned it. The passenger side mirror doesn't adjust well with the electric control but can be done by hand. It is due for an oil change. If you're coming from a considerable distance and want that done before you drive it home, I'm sure we can works something out to make that happen.
Cosmetically: There are various scratches, scrapes, dings and stone chips typical of a vehicle this age. There is one small sized dent in the right, rear quarter as seen in the picture. There is no rust but it appears to have had a small amount of rust repair done on the forward, lower sections of both rear wheel wells but it looks solid. The interior is clean but there is some wear to the carpet in spots. There are no holes or tears in any of the seats.
I've tried to represent the vehicle well in all the pictures but if there is something specific you would like to know about or any other pictures you would like to see, please ask.
Buyer is responsible for pick up and all transportation costs and arrangements. I accept cash upon pick up. If it's going to be more than 7 days before pick up, I will require a $200.00 PayPal deposit.
The vehicle is available for inspection and a test drive if you are local. Please ask any questions before bidding and thanks for looking!
