2005 Ford Expedition King Ranch Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Ford Expedition King Ranch 4x4 with just 105k miles. The King Ranch trim package is the highest trim level available for the Expedition and offers unique alloy wheels as well as unique leather interior. I would rate the exterior of this Expedition to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. This Expedition is finished in Estate Green and tan exterior. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Expedition, the only noteworthy damage is visible on the front bumper cover. Other than that, just a few normal scrapes and chips here and there. Rust is pretty good as far as older Expeditions go. The only rust I saw was along the rightrocker, which is normal. All of the body cladding and trim is intact. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The King Ranch specific alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with tread on the thin side of average all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.

I would rate the interior of this Expedition to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The leather seats are amazingly comfortable and are not excessively worn. The middle row of seating has a few marks on them. I haven't messed with it but it looks like whatever it is is on top of the leather and could be removed. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The dash and headliner are clean. The polished wood veneer accents in the interior look great. The audio systemhas been upgraded with an aftermarket CD playerand sounds great. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR. Access to the 3rd row of seating is simple and there is plenty of leg room. The cargo area is spacious and clean. There is a good amount of storage behind the 3rd row. With the touch of a button, the 3rd row and be easily lowered to open up even more cargo room. The 3rd row can then be raised back up with the same button. The center row also folds down to allow pick-up truck like cargo capacity.

Mechanically, this Expedition appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.4L Triton V8 starts up easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. She makes plenty of power and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
