I'm selling it because I'm in financial difficulty. Otherwise, i was planning on driving this car to the ground... I've been driving the car every other month for the past 4 years, as i had to move out of the country for a project. I may be in financial difficulty but have a rich sense of humor.
As you can see this from the pictures car has a lot to offer..
CAR IS RUNNING JUST FINE...(not at this moment, as I am at Barnes N Noble, posting this ad, but as you are reading these lines, i will be in the car driving away... you can do the same, if you are the final bidder)
This is a 4WD, and you can consider it as AWD. Why? This car has, only four wheels. When you turn the 4WD, you are automatically turning ALL the wheels on.
FIRST OF ALL - LET ME LIST WHAT COMES WITH THE CAR
1- RED ANTIQUE-LOOK
This is not a regular ford escape from 2002. This one had a body paint problem (from the manufacturer) but i never took it to the dealer to get it repainted. you ask why? Well, did you see the pictures (last one)? It has a nice red antique-look on the roof. In the fall time, when the leaves are falling, car is almost camouflaged. :) Also, the hood is starting to peel off, but it hasn't rusted yet, but in a year or two, hood will gain the nice red antique-look...
2- GAS TANK REMINDER
Right by the gas tank, it has another big round paint peeled off. I know what you are thinking, but no i didn't do it on purpose. But it is a nice reminder to see where you need to fill the tank.
3- GREAT KARMA - KID NOT INCLUDED
I had 4 promotions in the first two years. Then I started my business, and then sold it three years later for a good price. Then got another job and another promotion within 3 months... A year after i purchased the car, i had a son. Amazing kid!!! But don't count on having a kid, a year after buying the car, if you are not planning on it, and definitely don't ask my help for it... PS: Kid was NOT conceived in the car!!!
4- MAINTENANCE & HISTORY
I've done all the scheduled maintenance on the car. In the last 14 years, I've replaced the clutch 5-6 years ago. two months ago, I've replaced the M/C and the timing belt. If you are buying the car and planning on using it in SLC, Utah, then my mechanic knows the car and i can refer you to him. It is up to you, but i'd rather that my mechanic touches my car ;) after all, my car has been going to him for inspections and fixes for the past 8 years.
5- TRUNK is like my EXWIFE
It has its own mind. It may be locked and you won't be able to unlock it, unless it wants to open. Depending on the weather, it may not lock at all, however, if someone tries to get in, the alarm will still sound... I guess it is just like my exwife :)
PS: The house and the driveway in the picture is not included, but sold separately (if you can convince the house owner... but he is my friend, and i can help you change his mind)
