Thank you for checking out my auction - please take the time to read the full description below and carefully examine the high resolution pictures. I try to describe the positives & negatives of this vehicle accurately in this description. Check out this 2004 Ford E350 Econoline Van equipped with the 5.4L V8 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Engine. This is NOT a bi-fuel engine, it runs only on CNG. Compressed Natural Gas is a great fuel that burns cleaner and is often cheaper to purchase than regular gasoline. It is an All-American fuel, some people call America the Saudi Arabia of Natural Gas! With smart phone apps like CNGnow, finding fueling stations is easier than ever. Recently, I spoke with a cross country semi truck driver that had a CNG only truck, he uses CNGnow and has never ran out -- the company he works for had over 150 CNG trucks in their fleet running all sorts of freight across the country.
At only 28K original miles, this van is barely broken in! This vehicle was previously in the fleet of the city of Ann Arbor, MI -- after purchasing this vehicle I have driven it about 200 miles since. This E350 features the extended length body with seating for up to 15-passengers. It is equipped with options like power windows, power locks, cruise control, and front/rear air conditioning. It has an automatic transmission that shifts great. Mechanically, this E350 is in great condition. The engine runs smooth and sounds great. The transmission shifts good and goes through all the gears. The brakes stop the van straight and well, with no noticeable pulsation/vibrations. This van is equipped with factory cruise control and it works like it should. While driving the suspension components appears to be in overall good shape, with no noticeable clunking or noises. The steering appears to be in good working condition and the van drives straight. Exhaust is quiet and the van sounds good. The engine sounds great and haven't noticed any smoke. I have not noticed any leaks on the ground where this Econoline has been sitting. While driving, the transmission shifts smooth and goes into all gears. There are no vibrations until 70 MPH, until there is a slight vibration at speeds above 70. The tires are all matching 245/75/16 Firestone Transforce HT. All have some deep tread remaining. The climate control works and this E350 blows air on all blower levels and wherever you want it to (vents, defroster, etc - front and rear). The Heat works great and the A/C is cold. This E350 is equipped with AM/FM radio powers up and works like it should. The airbag light is illuminated reading code 34 (passenger seat belt pretensioner fault). All of the gauges read properly and there are no abnormal readings. This van has power windows and locks that work well. This van comes with only one key, but it is not a transponder key so duplicates are very affordable. Overall, this vehicle drives very good and I wouldn't have an issue driving it anywhere I needed to go. Cosmetically -- this van is in decent condition with no significant body damage. Like many previous municipality owned vehicles, it has its fair share of scratches and small dents despite having very low mileage. There are scratches all around this vehicle especially near the fuel tank door and some smallish dents on the rear passenger door area. I've tried to capture these cosmetic flaws in the pictures below. Aside from the scratches, the paint is in good condition. There is minimal rust for an older E350, mostly concentrated behind the rear passenger doors. All of the doors open and close without problems. The windshield and the rest of the glass is in good condition. The light lenses are in good shape. The interior is vinyl seats and rubber floors. The seats are in good condition as you would expect with this mileage. The floors are also in good shape, the only flaw being the rubber is curling where it meets the rear flooring (right behind the front passenger seats). Check out the pictures - they speak for themselves! I have tried to capture both the positives and the flaws in those pictures. This is a rare opportunity to own a very low miles CNG powered van.
I have tried my best to represent this vehicle accurately and to the best of my abilities. Earning and keeping a 100% positive feedback rating is very important to me! I purchase most of my vehicles as trade-ins from new car dealerships as traded. I test drive each vehicle on the expressway and around town for at least 20 miles, often over 100 miles, and use that experience to represent the vehicle to you on eBay. Please remember that you are buying a used vehicle and that a certain amount of wear/use/flaws are to be expected on any used vehicle -- including this one. Auction Details & Payment Information:
The vehicle is for sale locally as well so auction can end at any time. Bid with confidence as I have represented the vehicle well. There will be a $100 documentation fee added on to each vehicle sold (including sales to other dealers). A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of the auction ending via paypal. The remaining balance will need to be paid within 7 days of the end of the auction by Cash or Cashier's Check. If you need financing, please have that arranged BEFORE the auction ends.
Please only bid if you are 100% serious about buying this vehicle. This means you have a plan for shipping or picking up the vehicle and have the financial ability to pay for it. Due to high amounts of non-paying bidders recently, you must have a PayPal account associated with your eBay Account to bid on my auctions. Please make sure you have this, especially if you plan on waiting until the last hours to place a bid because it can take a while to set this up. We are a licensed used vehicle dealer and must collect sales tax/title/plate fees so please contact me prior to the auction ending if you want to know what fees you will have to pay on top of the purchase price. Michigan residents will pay 6% sales tax, $15 title fee, and whatever your plate ends up being. For out of state buyers, each state is a different tax/title scenario. If this is a concern, please contact me before the auction ends and I will tell you exactly how much (if any) tax will be for your state. For out of state buyers, any taxes that are paid to me you will receive a credit in your home state (you will not be double-taxed). All out of state buyers will be required to purchase a 15-day temporary tag/registration for $10.00 without regard to how you are getting the car to your home state (shipping it or driving it) and you will need to send me a copy of proof of insurance for any vehicle you own. This is the State of Michigan's rule, not mine...but from browsing eBay $10 is probably the cheapest temp-tag of any state and you will be able to drive your car immediately and legally.
In Michigan, all cars sold over 10 years old are marked as mileage exempt in accordance with Federal law. Basically, this means that the State stops keeping track of mileage on older cars, however Autocheck still does track the mileage and this vehicle is not known to have any mileage inaccuracies or discrepancies.
