"Ford added a fastback to its 1965 Mustang lineup, but the coupe continued to be the best seller of the group. The coupe outsold the convertible and fastback individually five to one, accounting for nearly 75 percent of total sales.

For sale by owner is this mostly original Mustang 2+2 Fastback with 67,000 miles showing on the odometer. Based upon the condition of the car the mileage appears to be correct, but it is being sold as exempt because the owner has no documentaion. It appears the car was repainted years ago in the original color. The 289 engine has been rebuilt with some performance modifications and is mated to a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission. Engine upgrades include a Edelbrock carburetor, Edelbrock Intake, headers and MSD distributor. The interior, trunk and undercarrige appear to be original and in excellant condition. The car has been driven and would now be considered driver quality as the paint does show some wear. What follows are the details.
