NO RESERVE AUCTION!! Up for sale is my 1979 Ford 150 4x4 which I purchased from a gentleman in Idaho. The truck is in good condition for its age. I mainly used it to haul firewood in the summer time for my home. I had intended to restore the vehicle but my job/time does not permit. The truck is a 4x4 and has the manual hubs. The 4x4 stick is on the floor with 4 low, 4 high, N, and 2 High. The 4x4 control moves through all 4 settings. I engaged the 4x4 in my driveway and thefront shafts do turn. I never used it in 4x4 though because I just drove the truck in the summer time. The truck has the original tires on it when I purchased it which do need replaced. Also, when I bought the vehicle the frontgas tank does not work. Fuel needs the be put in the rear tank. The truck is a MANUAL 4 speed on the floor. It does have a sunroof but the previous owner sealed it shut probably due to leaks. The sunroof does not leak though. Buyer is responsible for shipping and there is no warranty on the vehicle.Sold As Is. The truck has not been driven on the road sincethe Summer of 2015 so I would recommend trailering it home because as I said above the tires do need replaced. As far as any work done on the truck, I replaced the 2 barrel carb with a rebuilt one and puta new distributor rotor in it about 2 years ago. This past week I took it to the local shop and had the following work performed: New Spark Plugs, New Air Filter, New Fuel Filter,Ignition Timing Set, Carb Idle and Fuel mixture screws adjusted, New rubber fuel line from fuel pump line to Carb fuel filter, New gaskets betweenCarb and top of intake manifold due to vacuum leak. Regular oil changes have been performed on it also. The truck may need a new headlight switch in the cab. When it is turned on the parking lights come on all around the truck but the headlights do not. The switch is bad or it needs a new fuse. That is an easy fix. This would make a great Father/Son project or just a great project for a Shadetree Mechanic. Good Luck bidding!
