There's Dorothy, the very nice lady who, along with her husband, took such great care of this car, giving it a nice home, and frequent maintenance at the Ford dealers and independent shops. She bought it new at Smith Ford in Garden Grove, CA, which eventually became Campbell Ford. . I love it when the factory delivery paperwork has been preserved! . Look at all those options, totalling up to $16,843 ! But, being the nice guys they were, the Ford people put a $924 discount on it to wind up with $15,919. That was a hefty chunk of change in 1985! And let's go over some of the more important options and features - 5.0 Liter fuel injected V-8, 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive, Air Conditioning, AM/FM 4 speaker Cassette, Tilt wheel, Power front disc brakes, Power steering, Power door locks, remote mirror, Tilt wheel, Leather wrapped wheel, Speed Control ( Cruise Control), 6 way power driver seat, rear window defroster, Luxury group interior, Locking Wire Wheel covers, Tinted glass, Power windows. WOW!! Now THAT is a LOADED car!! . It's beautiful - that's all original paint, chrome, vynil top - Luxury Half-Top with brushed Aluminum trim, according to the brochure! It runs and drives wonderfully, the A/C is nice and cold, the power windows work great, it's just a pleasure to drive!

. The Blue & Gold license plate is the original one for this car. Ken Grody Ford on the license frame did some of the maintenance on it later on. . To have survived the last 31 years in such excellent condition is a tribute to the careful nature of the original owners. . Amazing! all the trim is bright, tinted glass is clear and sharp, it's just amazingly nice! The right rear tire whitewall must have been her curb feeler, it has a few scuffs to it, although the hubcaps stayed nice. . Excellent chrome bumper with optional rub strips! The paint is all original, and has survived in amazingly good shape. The sides are very shiny, and the top of the hood, trunk and roof show a bit of fading, but still, astonishingly nice original paint in Regatta metallic blue. . That's the Interior Luxury group, which included crushed velour fabric, reclining split bench seats, full length armrests and 18 ounce cut pile floor covering. Additional woodtone appliques on the dash, carpeted package tray, dual illuminated visor mirrors, automatic parking brake release, and 18 ounce cut pile carpeting. . There it is, the original mileage ! 45,233 as of the photo session! . The dash wood applique is brilliant - looks like new! The top dash vynil had some cracks, so we had a dash cover made. The AM/FM cassette player isn't working. . Leather wrapped tilt steering wheel - in excellent shape! . Beautiful driver's doorpanel, with window controls, power lock controls, and remote mirror stalk. . The pedals show hardly any wear, consistent with the original mileage . Even the driver's sill plate is bright and beautiful, with the Ford Blue logo shiny and brilliant. . Comfy Crushed Velour, looks like brand new! . Even the ashtrays are shiny and clean! . Here's the driver's inner doorjamb, all clean and original. Wow! . Door striker pin cad plating is still gold, and that Ford tire pressure decal is still nice and crisp! . The Crushed velour is spectacular! . Here's the Crown emblem on the brushed aluminum Half-top divider. Lovely! . 5.0 Liter Electronic Fuel Injected V-8 - a smooth, quiet and wonderful powerplant. It passed California smog just recently with no problems. . Engine bay is in nice shape, stock, correct and authentic. Serviced regularly. We see the AC compressor in this shot, the A/C is really nice and cold! . Let's open up the trunk - note there is a flaw in the lower trunk strip, visible here just below the pinstriping. . It looks like new in there. We think that's the original spare. . All original and clean. . Clean here - excellent lenses, and weatherstripping that is still soft and pliable. . Service receipts are all included. . And handwritten logs of the service by the owner. . It's amazing to find a car that is this nice, well maintained, and low mileage!
