2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor Street Appearance Package
2011 Ford Crown Victoria Street Appearance Package Description
I am selling my 2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. It currently has just under 128,600 miles and 283 idle hours. This vehicle served it's duty life as an unmarked unit with Wake County, North Carolina. This beautiful Crown Victoria features the Street Appearance package, which includes full hubcaps on 17" steel wheels, a chrome grille, chrome door trim, and chrome rear trunk trim with a body-color matched rear trunk deck. The interior has black carpet and cloth seats in both the front and back (no vinyl prisoner seats or vinyl floors in this car).
Since I purchased this car in February, I have not had to do much to it. I have replaced a few light bulbs that have gone out, completed an oil and filter change, replaced all four tires with brand new Cooper RS3-A pursuit-rated tires, and installed a brand new Interstate battery. This vehicle is in great mechanical condition, with no check engine lights or any warning indicators illuminated in the gauge cluster. A multi-point inspection was completed at a local Ford dealership approximately 5,000 miles ago, and the only thing that was noted was that the front brake pads would need to be replaced soon (although I do not notice any pull or abnormal vibrations when braking).
The car also has a full Jotto-desk console, complete with switches. There are four carling switches with three attached to additional 12V outlets. These outlets can be used for anything from GPS units to phone chargers, and can be turned on and off with the switches. The fourth switch is currently not used, but a wire has been pre-run into the engine bay, which can be easily used to connect driving or fog lights. The radios in the console are not included with the purchase of the car and will be removed prior to sale.
Although the car is in great mechanical shape, there are a few cosmetic issues that I want to point out. On the roofline of the driver's side, there is a large scrape that appears to have been caused by a low tree branch. I have used touch up paint from Ford to cover this scratch to protect the metal bodywork. There is a dent in the driver's side door that appears to have been caused by the door making impact with a solid object of some sort. There are small paint chips in the hood and on the driver and passenger side doors from being used as a police car. There is some paint chipping to the end of the driver's side door. Lastly, there is a tear in the carpet underneath the dashboard.
This is one of the last few Crown Victorias built as this one was manufactured in June 2011. This car is sadly the end of an era of RWD V8 sedans produced by Ford for police use. The car is being sold because I have decided to purchase a pickup truck as my daily driver for a higher ride height. I encourage you to come see this fantastic car for yourself. I would like to note that the car currently has a lien, so there will be a delay in releasing the title to the buyer between the payoff and getting the title to you. If you have any additional questions, please contact me. The photos of the car were taken on September 7th around 2am, and are the most current photos of the car in it's current condition.
There are three antennas on the trunk that were used for radios while I owned the car. If you do not want these antennas, I can easily replace these with small caps that will make the mounts much less noticeable. There are no antennas or holes in the roof, not even holes from a lightbar, which means the headliner was most likely not removed during the service life of the car.
If you choose to purchase this car sight-unseen and change your mind about purchasing the car, I will be retaining the $500 deposit through PayPal and the car will be relisted.
Please note, the emergency lights and radios in the car will not be included with the sale. These lights and radios were used for my personal use with my volunteer rescue squad.
