2013 Ford Taurus Description

** WARNING - This vehicle is FAST**

It is hard to findsuper cleanPolice Interceptor, especially one like this with ECOBOOST that is turn-key ready.

This is a super clean All-Wheel-Drive 2013 Police Interceptor with

100K miles and a clean Carfax history report.

This car is super clean and drives great!

This vehicle was just taken out of service (in the past week) as part of our normal fleet rotation. There is nothing wrong with this vehicle, and if our new cars had not come in, this car would still be in service - responding to emergency calls.

This vehicle is being sold by the Montville Township Police Department, in Montville Township (Medina County) Ohio. We are the original owner, and this vehicle has been in service, as a front line police car, for the past three years. It has never been wrecked nor has it had and body repair.

This vehicle was cared for very well and it was washed and waxed regularly. This vehicle was stored inside, when the officers assigned to it were off duty. It was serviced regularly, and all service records are available upon request.

All police decals have been removed and there is some slight ghosting of the letters on the truck and hood. These areas can easily be buffed out. All four doors were completely wrapped in white vinyl. Now that the vinyl has been removed, the doors are in new condition with no scratches or scuffs.

Two small sections of the grill have been removed to make room for the push bumper, that was mounted to the front of the car. The push bumper has been removed and can accompany the sale if desired.

All police equipment, including the center console, have been removed from this vehicle. There are holes from the aftermarket antennas and light bars in the roof and trunk lid. These holes were filled with silicone, by the company that installs and removes our aftermarket police equipment.

The interior is in decent condition. The driver’s seat has a hole worn in it, on the lower left side of the back rest (see photo). This hole is from the equipment on the officers’ duty belt. The other seats are in great condition, with no stains or holes. The interior roof panel has a hole in the center, where a police radio speaker was mounted (see photo).

There is a small dent in the rear of the car on the trunk, I tried to photograph it; however, it may be too small to see in the picture. There are no other dents or dings in this vehicle. There are the usual scuffs and light scratches that you would expect from regular police use, but most can be buffed out, and none of them are deep, or into the paint layer.

Because of the nature of the job, and the requirements of police department all over the country, there are a few things that this Police Interceptor has over a basic Ford Taurus. These include:

  • 3.5 LITER, 365-HORSEPOWER, ECOBOOST, TWIN TURBO, V6ENGINE
  • 6-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
  • AWD
  • DUAL EXHAUST
  • ADVANCE TRAC WITH RSC
  • HEAVY-DUTY INDEPENDENT FRONTSUSPENSION
  • MULTI-LINK CROSS BONE REAR SUSPENSION
  • HEAVY-DUTY SUB-FRAME
  • STABILITY CONTROL
  • HIGH-VOLUME RADIATOR
  • ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION OIL COOLERS
  • HEFTY 18" STEEL WHEELS

This Car starts, runs, shifts, stops perfect and the A/C is cold.

Good Year Eagle tires, replaced last fall, on stock rims with many more miles left on them.

For questions or to set up an appointment to view this vehicle please call Lieutenant Matt Neil at 330-661-0134.

If you are not in the Cleveland or Columbus Ohio area, and you want to hire a local vehicle mechanic or inspector to go over this vehicle, please let me know and I will arrange for the use of our Township’s Maintenance Garage, equipped with a vehicle lift.

This vehicle is being sold as is with no Warrantee, but I know that you will not be disappointed.
