FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION we have for sale a real good looking 1966 Mustang convertible. The dark blue paint is super nice and has a billant shine, the 2 tone blue interior is very nice, the 289 V8 engine runs sweet, the 3 speed manual transmission is fun to shift, the car drives good a rebuilt front end, the brakes stop good, the windshield is new, the Cooper Cobra GT tires brand new, the convertible top is power. Lights and gauges work!
HISTORY: We bought the car from a man just north of us here in Tennessee. He had bad healt problems and had to sell the car. He spent lots of money on the car, engine rebuild, new clutch and pressure plate, most all front end parts new and more. He bought the car in 2004 and was slowly restoring it. He bought it out of Virginia. We had the car painted, put all new chrome on, new carpet, fixed some lights, finished hooking the new radio list goes on.
HOW IS THE CHROME? We put new bumpers, all new embelms, new door handles, new trunk bezel, new tail light bezel, new rocker moldings, and new trim at the base of the convertible top. The other trim is the original, not new but in good used condition.
HOW IS THE CONVERTIBLE TOP? Its not new, it is usable and looks decent, it fits good, the plastic back window is cloudy. It is power operated and works good. It has a nice cover for when its down.
HOW IS THE STEERING? Past owner put new control arms on, new bushings, new ball joints, new tire rod ends, new idler arm, new spring mounts on front, and new shocks. Car is not power steering, but drives very good to me
