2008 Ford Mustang Roush P-51A - Number 64 of only 151 Produced - Low Reserve!

Up for auction is my beautiful 2008 ROUSH P-51 Ford Mustang. This ROUSH P-51 Mustang is an extremely rare vehicle. Number 64 of only 151 built, this powerful Mustang proudly displays the signature of Jack Roush on the dash.

Inspired by the long-range fighter aircraft that helped turn the tide in WWII, Jack Roush designed this vehicle to produce at least 510 hp and 510 lbs. of torque. As you can see from the dyno sheet below, he exceeded his expectations by producing 565 HP and 525 lbs. of torque. With all of this style and power, this Roush 5-51 Mustang is an absolute blast to drive! When you turn the car on it almost seems to know what you want from it. When you drop the throttle and it knows what to do! I have had all scheduled maintenance performed, and have retained all records. It’s always been garaged, and is in beautiful condition.

So a little about the P-51 Mustang... The ROUSH Performance P-51A Mustang is easily the highest horsepower Mustang that the company had ever produced at the time of its release, and represents the first time that internal engine components had ever been upgraded by ROUSH technicians in their Livonia Michigan facility. It was determined that the only way to give the P-51A moniker its due was to completely break into the 4.6L, 3V and rebuild several of the functional internal components, which include a forged steel eight-bolt crankshaft, forged aluminum pistons with increased dish to lower the compression from 9:8 to 8:6, and forged steel H-Beam connecting rods. These upgraded parts were necessary for the stock Ford engine (which comes with 300 horsepower from the factory) to be able to withstand the additional power generated from the newest iteration of the legendary ROUSH charger supercharger system. Additional alterations include a custom aluminum upper and lower intake manifold for the high capacity air-to-water intercooler and ROUSH charger, a custom fuel rail and high-flow fuel injectors, a high-flow capacity fuel system, as well as a dual electronic throttle body. The changes to the ROUSH P-51A don't end under the hood. A ROUSH aerobody kit was installed, includes a front fascia, chin spoiler, hood scoop and rear spoiler. Internally the car comes with ROUSH sport leather seating and custom floor mats. The white face gauges, billet aluminum pedals will get a lot of use as the driver shifts through the ROUSH short throw shift lever retro black ball.
