I am relisting this vehicle. Unfortunately I was the victim of someone trying to scam me with a request for all of my PayPal information. This individual bid up the vehicle to the reserve price during the last hour of the auction ended 8/31. They won the auction then proceeded to send me emails. They had some story about being overseas and they needed special payment arrangements. They never paid for the car and stopped communication when I alerted them that I was on to their scam. I am a new seller myself and this is very aggravating. Thanks to the E-Bay community forum, I was able to sort through the steps to cancel the sale and report the buyer. I have also changed my selling preferences. When the auction was ending I had almost two hundred views, seven watchers, and a handful of questions. I apologize to the legitimate buyers.
Thank you for taking the time to view my listing. My beloved uncle passed away several months ago and left me his car. I flew down to Florida and drove it home to New Hampshire a couple of months ago. I do not need a second car at this time and would like to sell it before it starts snowing this winter. After doing some research into the value of this vehicle, I have entered a reserve price well below Blue Book, or True Market Value. This car is practically brand new. It has never seen a New England winter and still has the Florida dealer sticker on it. It is registered and inspected, available to test drive.
I have it cross posted and do not appreciate being contacted by anybody who is not seriously interested in purchasing this vehicle. The phone calls from solicitors offering to help sell the car, or pair me up with pre-approved buyers has been exhausting. I am also not interested in giving away the car for free, creating a payment program, or any other kind of non-sense.
Please do not disrespect me or the fond memory of my uncle with scams. This is a superb vehicle and gets incredible fuel economy. It would be fantastic for a student or a commuter.
The car report says the vehicle was in a front end fender bender and towed from the scene. I know for a fact that my Uncle drove this car six miles each way to his doctors appointments. That was about as far as he would venture from home. I do not have any information about a collision. There is no evidence, dents, or scratches on the vehicle to show from any incident. Maybe he had a heart issue, bumped into something, and left in an ambulance? I will never know. Either way, you are welcome to inspect the vehicle for yourself.
Thank you,
