1968 Ford F-100 Description

First please let me sat that while this is a great truck it is NOT a perfect one.If you have any questions please ask, i want you to be sure of what you are bidding on.
That being said let me get the bad stuff out of the way....The body and paint work are not perfect and depending on your taste can be left as is or redone to your liking. The when the gas tank is full the gas gauge only shows 3/4 but when it shows empty the tank IS empty. The tires need to be rebalanced, the hood letters will be installed before the auction close. The arm rests are missing and there is no radio. The heater hoses are not hooked up, the back up lights are wires to the dash but not to the transmission or shifter. The truck has only 350 miles and I'm sure it will need more de-bugging.
I started with a 68 short bed, replacement floor pan, cab corners and door corners along with some patches in the front of the hood and front of the bed floor. The paint and body work were done at home with polyurethane paint and looks ok but far from show quality. New windshield, door glass is old and shows it.03 Crown vic front suspension with ps and pb on the stock chassis. The rear suspension is a 9" axle with a Yukon locker and 3.70 gear (the gear is noisey when coasting). The front spring hangers were flipped and shackles in the rear. Along with disc brake ki, new hoses and steel lines.
The wheels are American Racing VN470 Salt flats, 18x10 rear with 295/30 18's, the fronts are 18x7 with 245/40 18's. The tires are Saffiro sf5000 and only have 350mi on them.
Fuel tank was moved under the bed and fills from a lid in the bed floor. New fuel and return lines. The engine is a roller cam (b303) 5.0 HO forged piston Mustang engine, it has been rebuilt with polished stock crank new rod, main and cam bearings, double roller chain, melling oil pump with arp shaft, 7qt pan, comp push rods, aluminum heads, roller rockers, new roller lifters. MSD pro billet distributor. A GT40p efi intake with stock injectors, throttle body ran with a Painless harness and Ford ecu (has jet chip) and fabricated polished valve covers top it off. Billet aluminum brackets hold the new ps pump and alternator and a new A/C compressor. Large aluminum radiator, new hoses.
AOD trans was rebuilt with a Alto kit and a low stall converter, operated with a Lokar shifter and has a cooler on the radiator.
Stainless shorty headers, stainless X pipe, steel Flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers and stainless tail pipes that end just past the rear axle.
Interior has stock seat that was recovered sometime in the past but still looks good. The gauges are from Speedway and were mounted in the stock bezel with a homemade panel. Carpet looks goo, dash pad is original and has a melted place in the center. There is no headliner (was only cardboard stock) but i have the trim for it.The under dash a/c unit (also has heat in one unit) is working good, the controld were moved to the center of the dash so reaching them would be easier. There is a single layer of stick on sound deadener on the front floor and the back of the cab and some on the roof.

One question that has been asked a couple times is could the truck be driven home. So fa the truck has not left me stranded yet so yes it should make it almost anywhere but a brand new truck may not make it!
Thanks for bidding and good luck!
