2002 Ford Mustang GT Description

2002 Ford Mustang GT Convertible

I am the original owner of this beautiful, Triple Black Mustang. It was purchased new in San Diego, California where I drove it as a weekend toy. I recently moved to Ohio where the car has just been sitting in my garage – taking it out maybe a dozen times or so this past summer.

This car is still very tight. Zero rust anywhere; not even the exhaust. The interior is excellent, looking like (and smelling) it is brand new. Very, very clean, with no signs of wear. The top works perfectly and is still very taut. This is the only convertible I have ever owned and I was cautious to take good care that the top stayed in a good, tight condition. I would never drive with the windows down while the roof was up. You see these cars going down the road and the roof looks like a big bubble. This one does not do that. During the winter, or when it was parked, the roof is always left up – but I leave it unlatched to release some of the tautness. When I’m ready to take it out, I lock the roof down and it is very taut. It also comes with the original Tonneau Cover, all manuals and window sticker.

The exterior is in very good condition. There a couple places where the paint flaked off on the hood (see pics), and some scratches on the driver side, plastic, rocker cover (see pic). No dents or metal damage whatsoever. The hood scoop (plastic) is fading a bit, and it could be compound rubbed back to its original self.. I just haven’t done it yet.

Very original, the only update is a professionally installed 100 watt Alpine system. The tint on the windows is starting to peal (not bad), And for the buy-it-now price, I will have the tint replaced and a complete buff over the entire car. Otherwise, I’ve recently changed the tires and brakes for the first time, and another new battery.

I’m only selling this car because I would like to make room in the garage and I don’t want to put it outside with a car cover (included) on it. I’ve placed a buy-it-now price for $12,000, Which Includes Free Shipping to anywhere in the continental U.S. A very respectable Reserve Price on the car has been placed – Please remember that this car is in extremely good shape, drives like new and has always been very well maintained. Please, let me know you think. I may be willing to deal, but no trucks, bikes or anything that needs any work at all.
