1959 FORD F100 PICK UP
Let me start with I have 130K invested in this truck and I have all the receipts.
I started with a fairly rust free 1949 Ford and a Art Morrison Chassis cost over $15,000.00 with Willwood brakes, 4 link year coil overs and the list goes on and on.
5.0 Liter Ford Crate Coyote motor from Rausch Racing
Tremic 5 speed transmission.
New Custom Rims and Tires.
A/C
NEW EVERYTHING
This truck is done, the engine runs and everything is in place. All it needs is to be disassembled paint or powder coat the chassis, reassembled, paint and interior.
Now lets talk about the insane metal work that was done. Look at the pictures.
The truck sits low to the ground because the body has been dropped onto the chassis. Instead of taking the easy way out and trimming or pancaking the hood we notched the fenders and recessed the hood into the fenders and nose. The roof was flattened a bit, tubs were added and fenders were extended. The running boards were fabricated and all the mounts were custom made. We removed the external door hinges and mounted them on the inside and put in custom built in door pulls.
I have built several cars and trucks and I simply do not use Bondo, the metal work on this truck is impeccable and you will never see another one like it.
My last project that was not as nice as this sold for $165,000. I would estimate this truck needs about 25K to finish. If you do the work yourself it will be about 10K.
A combination of issues are forcing me to sell this truck.
1-My lease is up and I need to move into a smaller space and I do not have room for this truck with my other projects
2-I am working on a very expensive, large project that is forcing me to liquidate assets.
3-My wife hates this truck because it has been my obsession for two years. So its just time to move on.
