1969 Ford Mustang Fastback Mach 1 Description
1969 MACH 1 "R" CODE 428 RAM AIR C6 A/T Numbers matching Engine
Thank you for looking at my 1969 Mustang Fastback Mach 1. Its a real beauty, just finished the restoration started by Keith Craft performance engines. I understand he was building it for him self and spared no expense. He built the Original numbers matching 428 Ram air 4V to specs and also the C6 Automatic to "R" code specs with "R" servo too (nice firm shifts). The body was completely painted when I got it and it had chips here and there so I had it redone by Randall's Garage in Kentucky (Best painter I have ever had) He specializes in vintage and muscle car body work and paint. The paint and fit is absolutely near perfect. The color is Indian Fire Red (correct per marti report) and is really sharp. I really like it because it stands out from all the other Red, Blue, Green, Black and every other common Mach 1 colors. Most chrome is new or professionally polished. I have the Deluxe Marti Report that shows how it came from the factory. The only thing different from factory is it had a fold down rear seat added, and tilt steering. Clock, radio, all gauges and lights work as they should.Everything has been rebuilt or new including fuel tank, fuel and brake lines, all P/S components, power disc brake and rear drum brakes all new, wiring and exhaust ( Dual with resonators and transverse muffler), correct 69 chrome tips. New interior seat upholstery and foam from TMI (White with Red accent stripe), New carpet (Black with Red inserts), New headliner and sail fin boards. Door windows are bolt in type. All new weatherstripping throughout. New 15" magnum 500 rims 7" front and 8" rears for that staggard muscle car stance wrapped in BFG white letter tires. Also I put a painted magnum 500 rim with 15" tire in the spare. Alignment has been done. Under side is as nice as top. Not hardly any miles driven since finished. Its so nice and detailed I hate to drive it. Sounds awesome. May need minor adjustments here and there as any car that has been rebuilt from ground up would need during their first few hundred miles or so. As you probably know Ram- Air means "SHAKER"I have lots of receipts as well as Marti Report that go with it from Keith Craft and me.Car is available for inspection in Champaign, Illinois. Please be able to follow through with funds if you bid on it.Ask questions if you need any further info.
