2004 Ford F-150 FX4 Description

This is the heavy duty, 4x4 version of the F150 -- the new style, not the legacy. It's a one family car (Brother-in-law was first owner) and has never been used for a business or construction work. It's in great shape and has never had any work done other than routine maintenance except for A/C work and power window motor replacement. The tires are heavy duty Firestone class D that have 70% tread life remaining. It has a new battery. The truck was used for driving back and forth between San Jose and Alameda boat harbor during the restoration of a sailboat, then I used it for motorcycle hauling and two owner-builder projects. It's got the heavy duty towing package with extra transmission cooler, larger radiator, lower gears, full electronic brake control, and heavy duty receiver hitch. The truck has had a Ford bed liner almost since new and a Rack-It Sport rack. I have a removable rear support for those times when hauling longer than 10 ft. is required. It has the big 5.4 Triton engine but still gets 13 mpg around town and 17 mpg at 75 mph on the highway.
This is what Ford called a "Sport Truck" with better handling and braking than the std. F150. The rear seats are comfortable for adults and with the rear doors, easy on entry/exit. It's the 6.5 ft. mid-sized bed length. Also, it's a good old rust free California vehicle. The title is in my name, current and good till March of next year. So no back fees or penalties to register. I has a clean carfax. If you want a good, very low mileage truck, this is the one.
