THIS IS A VILLAGE VEHICLE AND MUST BE SOLD ACCORDING TO ILLINOIS LAW; IT MUST BE SOLD IN AN AUCTION-STYLE SETTING SUCH AS EBAY. THERE IS NO BUY-IT-NOW OPTION. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY TRADES FOR THIS VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD AS-IS AND WITH NO EXISTING WARRANTY; NEITHER EXPRESS NOR IMPLIED. THE VEHICLE WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER AFTER THE STARTING PRICE HAS BEEN SATISFIED: THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS VEHICLE.
POSITIVES:1. The vehicle has low mileage for it's age: 64,570 original miles.2. The vehicle has a working AM/FM stereo with a clock.3. The vehicle has functioning air conditioning.4. All lights, signals, hazards, horn are in working order.5. The vehicle has manual windows, locks, seats, all in working order.6. The vehicle has tan leather bucket seating with a small tear on the driver's side (side).7. The vehicle is equipped with a Fisher EZ-V 8'6" V Plow, same age as vehicle, that shows normal wear-n-tear/very light rust.8. The vehicle has Western plow controls inside the cab in working order.9. The vehicle has a salt spreader on the rear with controls in the cab in working order.10. The vehicle is 4 X 4 in good working order.11. The vehicle has manual locking front hubs with manual shifter in cab.12. The vehicle has four upfitter switches in the cab.13. The vehicle has tube steps, both sides of truck.14. The vehicle has an 8 foot lined bed in fair to good condition.15. The vehicle has a tow package.16. The vehicle does come with the vehicle's manual.17. The vehicle has a clear title.18. The vehicle appears to drive and function well.19. The vehicle is being replaced as we have purchased new trucks as part of an ongoing maintenance/replacement schedule.
NEGATIVES:1. The vehicle's check engine light is on. Our mechanic thinks it MAY be the knock sensor.2. The vehicle's "door ajar" light stays on, possibly related to above.3. The vehicle's interior dome light stays on for about 1/2 hour, possibly related to above. We took the bulb out.4. There is some light rust on the front bumper.5. There is a small dent in the rear bumper.6. There is a small dent and light rust on the passenger-side rear wheel well.7. There is a small dent with light rust on the driver's-side rear tail gate.8. There are small scratches/dents on the driver's-side rear 1/4.9. There is a scratch above the gas tank on the driver's-side.10. There is a small tear in the seat: driver's-side (side)11. The vehicle will need an oil change.12. The vehicle will need tires soon. They are currently Firestone Trans Force LT265/70R1713. There are normal wear-n-tear scratches, dings, dents throughout the vehicle; nothing major.14. The vehicle will need to be cleaned/detailed on the inside, although not extremely dirty.

Potential bidders may have an independent inspection completed on the vehicle at their own expense. The winning bidder is responsible for the pick up of the vehicle within seven (7) days of the close of the auction or hiring a private shipping service at their own expense; we will not deliver the vehicle. If additional time is needed for the pick up of the vehicle, please make arrangements with us; we have limited space to store the vehicle for a long period of time. We have described the vehicle as completely and accurately as possible, however, we will not be responsible for undetected problems, incorrect specs, etc.
