Thank you for looking at my 1986 Mustang SVO in gorgeous Medium Canyon Red (2A) paint with charcoal leather articulated sport seats.
The SVO needs little introduction, plain and simple it was and is a drivers car. Road and track tested the 1984 model in October of 1983 and claimed it outran the Datsun 280ZX turbo, out handled the Ferrari 308 and Porsche 944 and it was affordable! The SVOwas the first Mustang with rear wheel disc brakes, came standard with adjustable red Koni Shocks, a Hurst 5spd shifter mounted to a t5 world class transmission, a traction lock 3.73 rear differential, articulating leather sportsseats,SEV Marchalcat head fog lamps,a 200 HPturbo charged intercooled 4 cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection and boost control!
With less than 10,000 SVO's built in three years of production, these are very rare cars. One can say that the SVO is the granddaddy to the 2015 Mustang Eco-boost.
This SVOlooks and drives like a new car.According to Marti, my SVO is 1 of 108/3382 SVO's made in 1986 the last year of production.
I purchased this SVO from the orig. owner almost 4 years ago. She now has 41,000 mileson the clock. She has been mechanically and cosmetically restored to show room like condition. The AC is ice cold and has beenconverted to R134. Her original refinished wheels wear brand new continental DW performance tires.
Looking for a great place to invest that tax refund, look no further. These cars are appreciating and this is only the beginning for the fox Mustang and this rare and fabled version called the SVO.
