HIGH DEMAND VEHICLE...the International/Navistar-built 7.3L Power Stroke V8 Turbo-Diesel has developed a cult-like following for its tremendous record of reliability - in many cases for hundreds of thousands of miles. Truck enthusiasts and collectors have begun tracking these vehicles down in both truck and Excursion SUV configurations.

Please DO NOT confuse this fine diesel with the later Ford-built 6.0L Power-Stroke diesel engine which is completely different and experienced many reliability issues - largely due to the fact that the Navistar International 7.3L engine has 6-head bolts per cylinder, while the smaller Ford-built 6.0L diesel has only 4-head bolts per cylinder.

In sum, knowledgeable Ford Truck enthusiasts know that the 7.3L diesel is "the one to have".

GENERAL OVERVIEW & DETAILS...until its recent collector-ownership, this was a one-owner vehicle from new to 138,964 miles. Vehicles like this are special. Only the original owner paid full-price, and treats his investment accordingly. Original window sticker and other many other Ford-issued owner materials are included. Everywhere you look, you can see evidence of above-average care. Hard to find one this nice!

Looks and drives great. Amazingly easy to handle, despite its size...and with the very long 172" wheelbase, the ride quality is excellent. Everything we could think of testing during the photo-session worked. Ice-cold AC.
