1995 Ford F150 4x4 Extended Cab Long Bed Pickup Truck LOW Mileage 4WD XLT F-150
1995 Ford F-150 Description
Up for bid we have a 95 Ford F 150 XLT 4 Wheel Drive Ext. Cab Long Bed Pickup Truck with bed liner. This truck has low miles for being a 1995 and the majority of those miles were all highway. Oil changes done at 3000 mile intervals even though Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic oil (Fram Tough Guard Filter) is said to be good up to 5000 miles and then some. With the description below (Pros and Cons) I have tried to completely and accurately describe this truck to the VERY BEST of my ability!!! PLEASE FEEL FREE to contact seller with ANY and ALL questions about this auction no matter how insignificant you may think it is...I want you to know EVERYTHING there is to know about this truck before your purchase. HAPPY BIDDING!!!! See description below. PROS: Dual (front and rear) fuel tanks. 5.8L 351 CID V8 Engine (The 351 Windsor I'm told is the largest gasoline engine offered in that year and model truck. Automatic transmission w/overdrive. Long bed (with full bed liner and tailgate guard), extended cab. 91K actual miles. Original owner was a W.V. State Trooper. Has had 10w-30 PENNZOIL full synthetic oil w/Fram filter at every oil change! Starts and runs great, transmission is flawless with NO slipping and NO hard shifts. 4 wheel drive (once engaged & hubs locked) works great in snow, ice and/or mud. Tows strong as well. The tires are Goodyear Eagle GT's and have approximately 70% tread left on 3 tires and 1 used tire I purchased has approximately 10% tread. Replaced old battery with a new Interstate battery. Replaced cruise control module, brakes (all 4 wheels) and rotors (both front wheels), all rear brake lines, some of the front brake lines, transmission cooler lines and replaced the alternator. Replaced transmission fluid, filter, and gasket. Replaced spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor button approx. 3500 miles ago. Completely flushed coolant system, replaced the serpentine main drive belt, drained and refilled all fluids underneath (drivetrain fluids) ie. rear differential, transfer case, etc. Installed new Warn lock-out hubs. The factory window sticker says it is equipped with a tow package. This truck received a salvage title ONLY because of the year, NOT because of the amount of damage. It was purchased by me at (AIIA) which is a very reputable insurance auction. With the purchase at the auction, all materials (parts, paint, hardware, etc.), repairs, body shop, transfer from West Virginia to Ohio, taxes and title I have right around $5500.00 in this truck. A "friend" of mine rebuilt, repaired, and reclearcoated entire truck w/factory color (Calypso Green). Damaged parts (R&L fenders, hood, grill, bumper) all replaced w/O.E.M. parts, NOT AFTERMARKET! However he used Bondo in the only place it needed work done EVEN THOUGH I asked him not to as you will read in the "CONS" section below. I'm very "nit-picky" in the section below but i absolutely DO NOT want the buyer to be surprised in any way, shape or form at time of pick up...that is why I listed even some of the smallest details. I don't believe I missed a thing but PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS, I cannot stress that enough!!!!! This truck is really a fantastic, STRONG truck and I hate to part with it but where I'm moving to I cannot own too many vehicles. I'm sure going to miss it!!!!! :-( CONS: There was rust over both rear wheels due to chrome trim that was improperly installed, so had body shop remove & I asked them to replace both bedsides. I found out when I noticed signs of rust that the body shop did NOT replace the bedsides, but they tried to repair the rust w/Bondo. The rust came back, but the trucks warranty through the body shop had just ran out. Dent behind driver's door below extended cab window as seen in pictures. The little motor on the transfer case stopped working so now you have to shift (2H-4H-2L-4L-N) manually, then manually lock/unlock the hubs and PRESTO, you are in full 4 wheel drive. It's very simple to do. There is a leaky hose or something in the power steering. A mechanic friend looked at the suspension problem and said there was something wrong (or broken) with the coil spring and said not to drive until it was repaired. Buyer should bring a towing trailer or rollback to haul just in case truck is not able to be driven due to coil spring issue. I will help you any way possible and can get plenty of other help to stop by in case. THANK YOU so much for looking, I promise you will TOTALLY love this truck...Good luck and HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!!! Please refrain from bidding on this auction if you have less than 5 positive feedback...I apologize for that but I have been burnt soooo many times in the past.
