Selling my Shelby GT350. This is a no stories car, I put another 15 miles on her the last 2 weeks, that brings her to 455 miles. It is literally in showroom condition, you will not find a single scratch, nick, dent, or chip.
Some of you may understand why I am selling, I always want something different, I can never just be satisfied with the car I have. I always want to experience the next thing that catches my eye. It has nothing to do with wanting the most expensive or rarest or most powerful, I mean right now I am eyeing the Focus RS. Maybe one day I will find that car that never ceases to amaze me, eh, who am I kidding, look for a Focus RS up for auction in about 8 months.
I am sure all of you visiting my auction knows exactly what you are looking at, so I will just try to describe how this car feels. I sold my 2016 Hellcat (go figure) to purchase the GT350 and the differences are astonishing. The Hellcat has superpowers and if you wanted to get somewhere really really fast the Hellcat is hard to beat, but only if you can get to that somewhere driving in a straight line. If turns are involved in getting to that somewhere you are wanting to go, be prepared to stop and signal before going around them, you may be able to take some of the less sharp turns like you would a yield sign, but be very careful. The Hellcat is also VERY big, I could fit 2 of me, and I am kinda chubby, into the drivers "sports seat". Don't get me wrong, it was a fun car and the power was ridiculous, but I am not into cars to show them off, performance is the most important to me, and ok, I admit it is nice when strangers compliment you and want to know all about your car. The GT350 on the other hand, is built for the track. She is very well balanced and the magnetic suspension, MagneRide, does its job better than any other performance car I have driven. From the moment you get into the Shelby it feels special. The Shelby has beautiful lines and the interior is full of high quality material. The seats are extremely comfortable and supportive, and the clutch is unexpectedly light, really really light. I thought that was going to be a problem until I drove her and surprisingly, the clutch was easy to get use to and very smooth. There are so many other incredible things about the Shelby, but before I go, I have to tell you about the music this car makes. I would describe it as Heavenly, the flatulence of God. Flip open the exhaust value and forget the radio, because you have 8200 stations to listen to, right there on your tact.
