I have strong evidence in my own experience with the 4.6Liter Engine, demonstrating it's durability and longevity. My 2004 Mustang has over 210k miles and runs as strong as it did when new.I also have a 2004 Expedition with the 4.6Liter Engine, and it just turned over 305,000 miles...and it runs absolutely flawless. These are the same engines that Law Enforcement Agencies, and even Cab / Taxi companies have proven run easily 300-400k miles before needing a rebuild. Point being, a well cared for 159,986 mile engine / tranny / rear Mustang will run easily 300,000-350,000k mileswhen taken care of and routine maintenance is performed. ***** and this 2000 Mustang GT listed for sale here, has actually had the entire powertrain all rebuilt for you!
