Engine starts easily and runs well.No surprises found from brakes, steering or suspension. The automatic five speed transmission shifts through all gears easily as it should. Has a special towing transmission setting. Thetorque of this vehicle is 560lb-ft @ 2,000rpm.
TheSUVstarts every timeand it has beendrivenjust occasionally over the past few years. The kids are grown and we are downsizing.Lots of work has been done to this vehicle. All new professionally installed complete set of glow plugs within the past 10,000 miles etc.The vehicle has been well maintained. Oil Filters were changed less than 1,000 miles ago and other typical preventive maintenance items.
Exterior:
TheSUV is the originalFord Black and we get a great deal of compliments. Lots of people want this model and year.The chrome is in good shape and it still has its original rims on it.It hasthe usual scratchesbut it still very presentable.The SUV could use a good cleaning as pine sap has often landed on it on the driveway and also there is dust on the exterior.It has never been off roaded and has been driven by adults safely.
Interior:
The interior appears largely stock with period colors and the third row seat removes very easily.The cassette deck and CD playersare factoryFord andthey work well.The interior has some wear but its a little better than typical for the age of the vehicle.Air Conditioning blows cold.
