2012 Ford Mustang Description

For Sale - 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 # 2279 - Original Owner - 2,754 Miles - Garage Kept and Never Driven in Rain, Never Washed with a Hose. This is my baby and an opportunity to own a rare car. Ford made 3249 of these cars in 2012 and the roughly same number in 2013, and then stopped making them, making them an immediate collector item.

Mine is a rare color combo of Race Red with White Stripes with less than 100 produced. I have the all the original promotional and production material that came with the car including.

-Framed original window / EPA sticker

The next generation Bosses have some rather unique features such as, Track Key and Quad Exhaust
Track Key - is special software activated by Ford Dealer which puts the car in Track Mode, producing more horsepower and changing handling characteristics. My car has not had the Track Key activated, but it is very simple to do.
Quad Exhaust - the exhaust system has exhaust tips that exit prior to the rear wheels are can be adjusted using baffle plates. Mine are removed, I like it loud. It sounds awesome.
They are modeled after the original 1969 - 1970 Boss 302's with Stripes that mirrored those years. The 2012's looking like 1969's and 2013's, the 1970's.
The Boss 302 features Track Appswhich allows the driver to monitor performance stats such as 0 to 60, quarter mile, and braking times. Track Apps also features a “Christmas Tree” countdown timer just like the one at the drag strip. In addition, there’s a Gauge Mode which monitors critical factors such as air/fuel ratio, boost/vacuum, cylinder head temperature, and inlet air temperature. It’s all located on the 4.2-inch LCD screen in the center of the instrument panel.

Car & Driver tested the cars and their testing numbers were:

60 mph in 4.2 seconds

quarter-mile in 12.7 seconds at 114 mph

top speed of 161 mph

0.96 g ofcornering grip
