1995 Ford F-150 F150 Description

XLT MODEL, CRANK WINDOWS, MANUAL LOCKS, RUBBER FLOOR, NON CLOTH BENCH SEAT, AFTER MARKET AMFMCD STEREO BETTER SPEAKE, AC (LOW ON FREON). 8 FOOT LONG BED CHROME STEEL STEP BUMPER CHROME FRONT BUMPER 4.9L STRAIGHT SIX CYLINDER MOTOR @ 217,900 MILES FIVE SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND MANUAL ENGAGE FRONT 4X4 HUBS DARK GREEN METALLIC PAINT GRAY INTERIOR FACTORY RIMS WERE REPLACED WITH LARGE DICK CREPEK ALLOY RIMS AND 35' MUD TIRES. REAR TIRES ARE 90% FRONT RIES ARE 75%. THE BED IS COVERED WITH A PLASTIC BED LINER. BED RAILS ARE COVERED BY DIAMOND PLATE. THERE IS A LOCKING DIAMOND PLATE TOOL BOX WITH TWO KEYS. THERE IS A TOW MOUNT ON THE LOWER REAR BUMPER AND A FLAT WIRE TRAILER LIGHT PLUG SOCKET. ITEMS CHANGED OVER IN SEPTEMBER 2015 WERE BOTH FRONT AND REAR FUEL TANKS AND THE STRAPS. ALL FOUR SHOCKS TO MATCH THE SIX INCH LIFT KIT. NEW BATTERY. EMISSIONS ITEMS FOR POLLUTION SYSTEM AND SOME MANIFOLD GASKETS. THE FRONT SUSPENSION WAS CHECKED ALONG WITH OIL AND FLUID CHECKS/CHANGE @ 215,000 THE SHOP IN SEPTEMBER 2015 RECOMMENDED BALL JOINTS AND UNIVERSAL JOINTS. MARCH 2016 THE TRUCK WAS GIVEN NEW FRONT UNIVERSAL JOINTS AND A REAR NEW DRIVESHAFT WITH NEW JOINTS AND FLANGE. THAT MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN DRIVING IT. I WAS WAITING T DO THE BALL JOINTS SINCE IT WOULD TAKE UP MY MECHANICS LIFT FOR AN ENTIRE DAY. THIS PAST WEEK THE TRUCK STARTED TO WOBBLE BUT ONLY ON ONE STRETCH OF POT HOLE WASHBOARD ROAD THAT I HIT EVERY DAY. ON APRIL 26 2016 THE FRONT END WILL GET WHEEL BEARINGS OR TIE ROD END - WHAT EVER IT NEEDS. THE TRUCK IS NICE AROUND TOWN AND OK ON THE HIGHWAY. I GUESS DUE TO THE TIRE SIZE IT WILL ONLY DO 81-83 TOP SPEED. THAT IS A SMOOTH RIDE WITH SOME TIRE NOSE FROM THE MUD TIRES. I DRIVE THE TRUCK DAILY AND WOULD GO ANYWHERE IN IT - ANY DISTANCE. THE 4X4 IS 100% OPERATIONAL - USED THIS PAST SNOW FALL. BODY IS 99% RUST FREE - HAVING MINOR NICKS THAT HAVE SURFACE RUST. FLOORS ARE GREAT AND SO IS THE FRAME. THERE IS A CRACK IN THE GLASS WINDSHIELD. IF YOUR A NJ BUYER AS OF MAY 2016 THIS TRUCK WILL NEVER HAVE TO GET A SAFETY OR EMISSION TEST. THE TIRES REALLY ARE TO BIG FOR THE TRUCK. ANOTHER INCH OF METAL NEEDS TO TRIMMED OFF THE FRONT BUMPERS AND THE WHEELS JUST TOUCH THE STEPS TO GET INTO THE CAB. I KEEP MY CARS AND TRUCKS FOR A LONG TIME AND I TEND TO PUT MORE MONEY IN THEM THAN THERE WORTH. SO I PICKED THIS ONE BECAUSE IT WAS IN SUCH GREAT SHAPE PAINT./INTERIOR/RUST FREE BODY. NOW THAT I HAVE PUT OVER $1800.00 RECENTLY I LEARNED I AM RELOCATING TO RENO IN JULY. I CAN ONLY TAKE TWO OF OUR FOUR FAMILY CARS. THE TRUCK AND MY CROWN VICTORIA MUST BE SOLD. I AM ASKING $2800.00 LOCALLY. I WILL REMOVE THIS AT ANY TIME FOR A PRIVATE SALE.

THE TRUCK WAS TO HAVE GOTTEN THE FRONT END REDONE ON MONDAY. TODAY IS WEDNESDAY AND NOT ALL THE PARTS ARRIVED. MY MECHANIC WILL TRY TO FINISH THE REPAIR THURSDAY APRIL 28 2016. IF YOUR LOCAL YOU CAN DRIVE THE TRUCK AS IS. IT DRIVES FINE. NOW THE REPAIR IS $510.80 SO THE PRICE MIGHT INCREASE.

QUESTION ABOUT THE AC. THE DESIGN OF THE SYSTEM IS A PROFESSIONAL SHOULD RECHARGE THE SYSTEM, ONLY BECAUSE THERE IS A LOW PRESSURE SWITCH THAT WONT LET THE COMPRESSOR TURN ON. NOW YOU CANT CHARGE THE SYSTEM THIS WAY. BUT A SIMPLE WIRE JUMPER IS PLACED ON THE SWITCH TO LET THE COMPRESSOR TURN ON. YOU WOULD NEED THREE CANS OF FREON TO FILL THE SYSTEM. AGAIN - THE SYSTEM WILL NOT PULL FREON UNLESS THE SWITCH IS BYPASSED FOR A FEW MINUTES. I AM NOT GOING TO PURCHASE FREON AS I HAVE TO MUCH MONEY IN THE TRUCK AT THIS TIME. PREVIOUS OWNER SAID THE AC HAS ALWAYS WORKED AND IT TOOK A CAN EACH SPRING TO CHILL UP THE AIR.
