1965 Ford Other Pickups 5 Window Pickup - Spring Special Description

1965 Ford Econoline 5 Window Pickup - Spring Special - Very Rare Pickup - Very low production built. Has it's correct 6 cylinder motor. The Pickup has been in storage for many years. The owner I bought it from said it ran fine before he parked it. The guy seemed very honest. The motor turns over freely. I think if you do a complete tune up and change the fluids and some odds and ends she should have no problem running. The motor looks all original, but does have a header for more power and performance. Has it's correct 3 speed on the tree.
The original color is the Spring Special Poppy Red Paint, it is a beautiful Orange color, very popular and desirable color. Overall the body is pretty straight, has some small dings, bumps and scratches, nothing major. The Pickup has maroon primer and it has been that way for a long time, you can see the original Orange paint underneath the primer. The Pickup is pretty solid, there is some small pin holes on the passenger side floor were your feet rest, nothing to major, very easy fix, the rest of the body and floors look fine. You can see this in my detailed pictures I have posed. This is a original California Black plate Pickup, that's why it is so solid.
The interior is in fair shape, it will need some restoring. Looks to have it's original seats, a lot of these pickups are missing there original seats and have some kind of custom seats.
Some of the glass is out of the Pickup but it is all there a in fair usable shape, you can see them in my detail posted pictures. I do not have the stainless side moldings, never got them with the pickup or bumpers. Have extra parts that come with the Pickup that you can see in the posted pictures too.
This 1965 Ford Econoline 5 Window Pickup - Spring Special is a very rare Pickup, very low production, very popular color with the fancy big stainless moldings that run down the sides of the Pickup and of course being a 5 Window. Very desirable Pickup to fix up, great investment.
