This could be a beautiful car but first it will need a lot of work – I am not a restorer but I was assured by esteemed re-builder, Jewel Meetz, of Jewels Body Shop that the body work required is not unreasonable. The Hood, Trunk and Decks seem to be essentially rust free but as is obvious from the photos, the fenders and quarter panels need a lot of patching. I have a heavy machine shop and no experience with the type of welding required here and have decided to find something more fitting to my abilities.
The engine is the original rebuilt 312 V-8 mated to the original 3-speed automatic transmission. It is equippedwith power steering, power brakes, power seats, and a soft top. (the hardtop is not available). The clock is missing from the dash and I have a new replacement to send along as well as a new set of fender skirts.
The car rolls easily but has obviously sat for a very long period and the tires are showing some dry rot. I did not attempt to clear and start the engine but would be willing to crank it over if requested. The canvas top is black with a couple of tears and apparently not to the white code.

You will need to arrange your own transportation. The car rides nicely on a Uhaul behind an F-150. I wouldn’t use a dolly considering the age of the tires. I have men who can help to load if necessary.
