Up for auction is a wonderful example of the last year "OBS" old body style Ford F-350 Super Duty with what is probably one of the best turbo diesels available in a pickup, the 7.3 liter powerstroke V8. You could fly in and drive this one home!
Originally a Texas truck, there is very little rust on this truck and it's extremely solid. There is a small rust area on the very forward passenger side bed support above where it attaches to the frame of the truck. All of the other bed supports are almost perfect along with the rest of the truck. The bed support with the small amount of rust is not concerning as you will see in the pictures of the undercarriage of the truck.
Truck has a clean carfax, which proves its history as a Texas vehicle prior to being bought and shipped to Delaware. Since then where it has only been driven about 200 miles under new ownership.
The gentleman I purchased the truck from had the soft fuel lines under the truck replaced, fuel filters replaced, and oil change performed. Truck is currently tagged and insured in Delaware.
Equipped with dual fuel tanks and yes both switch over and function perfectly fine.
I've driven the truck around a little bit and it runs 100%, transmission shifts fine and never skips a beat, overdrive can be toggled on and off without issue, 4 wheel drive works fine as does the cruise, AC, heat etc.... There is a Viper alarm / keyless entry on the truck and comes with 2 fobs, system is in working order. For some reason the front power windows take a few minutes to work after the truck is running and the rear windows don't want to work. Not sure if this is an issue with the master window switch on the drivers side.
Overall the body is in excellent shape. However, the truck is 19 years old so it is not perfect. There are some paint blemishes and small chips, dings here and there but it presents very well and is probably one of the nicest rust free trucks you will find.
Please note in the bed there was a 5th wheel ball mounted. The gentleman I purchased the truck from had it removed. Unfortunately, the only way to do this was to have it cut out. The panel that is in the bed is much larger than the actual hole where the ball was mounted, with the actual hole measuring approximately 6" x 6". If you wanted to drill the pop rivets out and do a bit of clean up and make this a more cosmetically appealing repair, it wouldn't be too hard.
The interior has a few blemishes which you can see pics of in the main pictures for ebay and in the slide show below. Drivers seat has a few spots where the fabric nap is a little thin. There are a few holes in the recessed area of the top of the dash where something was mounted, these pics are in the listing. Center console lid has some blemishes/cracks as well. There are no rips, tears or stains and the rest of the interior is in great shape.
Overall this is an original truck that has not been chipped, hot rodded etc... and is all stock! Tires have great tread and look to be wearing evenly.
Please see linked slide show below for all detail pictures of the truck inside and out (may not be visible on iOS devices, please use a web browser instead).
