2000 Ford Escort LX Description

Up for auction is my four door 2000 Ford Escort LX.This is my daily driver and currently has less than 67,000 original miles on it.I bought it from a mechanic who bought it at auction and said it was a ComEd car.This is just a solid running A to B car. I bought it last September for a Winter work car but I prefer air conditioning in the Summer. It has the crank windows and manual seats. Car has been great for me with good tires (14"), good transmission and engine. Strong runner with no leaks. It does have some minor scratches and some rust starting on the rear quarters. I have never looked underneath it and had the oil changed two times. Not perfect but a great beater with a heater.

My previous car is a 1999 Mercury Tracer with the same engine as the Escort so I kept it for parts. The tracer is complete and will run. A rear coil spring broke and the frame was questionable where the coil is. That car has good air conditioning and a great stereo and speakers and good tires with alloy rims (15"). I will sell it to the winning bidder for $200.00 if interested.
