1965 Ford Mustang Shelby racing stripes Description

You are bidding on Ford's 1965 Mustang GT Convertible - Design Type: Shelby -All Stainless Steel body in Perfect condition, sitting on a Mazda racing chassis that is NO LONGER in production at this time. But, Toyota purchased this patented chassis to use in their 2017 Super Street & Track racing car (coming out sometime in 2017), just this chassis is going to be used by Toyota's super car to be unveiled sometime in 2017! That says everthing that needs to be said about this chassis! The Mustang that I am selling is called a M-stang Roadster GT by Bill Carnes and Ford Production Co.Production number 1 and there were only 7 of these M-Stangs built by Bill Carnes & Ford. I have all of the paperwork to prove it and the agreement by Ford and Mr. Carnes to build under the Ford Motor Co. conditions and safety requirements to build. None of the 7 built have the same color scheme. This one is the Shelby white with blue racing stripes with black convertible top! This car has actually been in 4 Ford Racing and Custom magazines and I have a few of them to go with the car. Also that will be shown in this auction along with the agreements, Ford's requirements and the first original build sheets to this first build for these limited sports cars, very rare to have one of these limited cars built by Ford Motor Co. and engineer, Mr. Carnes. This car, patented by Ford and Co. is not a clone! But it is the original body, GT Shelby style 1965 exact body look but built as a Roadster; just like the new Charger's, for instance, that Dodge made in 2006 when they remade the Challenger, for example. The car runs good. It also has a Sports bar (or roll bar) behind the coupe seats. The car only weighs approximately between 1500-1600 lbs. and has room under its' hood for a big block engine or small block, of course, V8. I was going to put my 302 BOSS 5.0 motor in it. It is fuel injected and it came out of a 1991 Fox body Mustang GT with a 5 speed transmission that goes w/ this motor. I have everything complete - engine, including A/C (complete original unit - works perfect, as does this motor and 5-speed trans). Motor, trans, etc... is already pulled out on a cherry picker, in my garage; waiting to be built or sold stock, as is. Right now, the car is, as it was originally built, with the Mazda motor left on the chassis along with its' transmission so you can drive the car like it is. Everything works perfect and is in EXCELLENT condition, inside and out. Wouldn't take a lot of time or money to put this BOSS fuelinjected engine plus 5 speed trans in its' place. Given its' light weight and low wide stance, this BOSSmotor would absolutely make this car haul some serious ass! Not to mention, if you put a higher horse powered big block, it would be a Monster!
Note: This Mustang is not a kit car. It is an all steel, real body 65/66 GT MustangRoadster. It is recognized by Ford Motor Co., 1 of 7 ever made.Simply put, this is Ford's version of a Roadster Mustang GT and Mr. Carnes contracted to build it for Ford. I do have thepaperwork that proves this and the(original) signed contract between Ford Motor Co. and Mr. Carnes. Why this chassis Ford decided to go with? Because this is one of the best, if not the best, chassis ever made. It has won more races, beating imported exotic cars because of its' lightweight and design. They did look at several candidates and felt like this is the best chassis forthis roadster.
P.S. Any questions, feel free to email me to ask any questions about this very first production limited car by engineering team Bill Carnes & Ford Motor Co # 1 of 7 in the world!
Thanks for looking! I am selling car like it was made by Ford Co. and Mr. Carnes in its' original state, passing all of the safety requirements that Ford themselves passed and approved before Mr. Carnes and his engineers could build this car. I have not added anything to this car or removed anything from this car from its' original build.
Winning bidder will get the BOSS engine and 5 speed trans. to go with the car IF they would like. If bidder does not want the BOSS engine and 5 speed trans. with the car, I will take less for the car by itself, obviously.
Thanks again, any questions, feel free to text or call me at 205-862-1135 (this is my cell number, if no answer, please leave message and I will get right back with you). I would consider ending this auction early if someone meets my lowest price requirements. Have a good day and God Bless!
