With only 14000 miles since new, and only 2500 since engine and transmission were installed, storing it indoors and meticulous maintenance kept this car beautiful.
Originally a V6 car running in the low 11’s it made its transition to a turbocharged GT500 engine early in its life, just a few years later was the engine was upgraded with a Modular Performance shortblock featuring the best parts available.
The Lentech Fully Automatic 4r70w Transmission with transbrake is handled by a Baumann Controller for precise control over shift points and converter lock up schedules, a switch located on the dash allows the driver to easily select between race and street profiles. The transbrake coupled with a MSD twostep allows for repeatable High Boost launches and consistent 60ft.
The chromoly 10pt is NHRA certified to 8.50 and features swing out door bars, the Stroud Window Net, Trans Blanket and Oil Retention pan, 9in axle Housing Ends, Strange axles and 3 inch wheel studs all make it 100% legal for 9.90 or quicker.
The Power Assisted Strange Four Piston brake calipers and Strange Lightweight rotors have no problem hauling this car down from 150 mph!
Retaining the Power Steering has enabled this car to be as comfortable on the street as it is at the track. Its just as happy going to get ice cream as it is dragging tail down the track! The radial tires on all four corners not only hook hard, but roll smooth.
In its current Configuration for 9.90 index, this car has run 9.87@ 140 with only 17# of boost, there is plenty of performance left in this car!
