1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 

I present to you 100% restored numbers matching 1966 "C" code 4 speed Mustang Coupe. This car has been restored to the specs of the GT350 Shelby. This car was roadworthy but needed some serious attention. Being that we found the car rust free made it a perfect candidate for the full treatment. Minimal body work was needed after being completely stripped/Media blasted to the metal and was refinished in factory Ford Sterling Gray Metallic along with painted stripes that looks like glass in pics and better in person !!.

Remeber as you look at this Coupe you will never see another 1966 Mustang Coupe look like this with this color combination done to perfection.

I always say if you don't like this particular car then go find another and if you can't thats because there isn't one. This is it !!!

So lets start with all the itmes done to the car shall we:.

Every piece of trim and exterior light has been replaced with Scott Drake parts for a clean fresh look only the best. The inside has been completely redone with all new TMI sport interior parts including upgraded bolster style seats, door cards headliner, Carpet, Instrument panel and center console and all the knobs Bullet Mirrors and all the other ginger bread. The Fastback comes with a new Stereo with the dash speaker and 2 side speakers in the kick panels. Also the heating system has been completely over hauled as well.

Mechanically this car runs, Drives & sounds absolutely perfect!

I've used nothing but Scott Drake suspension components that makes this Fastback handle better than Ford ever expected. Sway bar bushings, tie rods, control arms, spring, shocks ect..... all new and no expense was spared for quality parts.

The engine is 100% new with the original block with new internals rods, pistons, rings and bearings New Edelbrock Aluminum Heards. Comp 1.6 aluminum roller rockers and matching intake with a holly carb. The Fastback does have a RV cams to give it a little more power nothing radical just gives the car the right sound and performanc. The power gains are really impressive over a stock Coupe, I would say the car makes about 400 horsepower at the flywheel. The exhaust is also 100% new with Tri-Y headers with FlowMaster mufflers and a true mandrel bent H pipe for the perfect sound you expect. The Wheels and tires also have been upgraded to 17 inch Coy Wheels with a fresh set of Toyo rubber.

Also the Hood of the car is a true functional hood scoop !!!

The cooling system also has been upgraded with a brand new Aluminum radiator and high flow waterpump 160 Thermostat and new coolant hoses. This car literally doesnt even think of getting hot no matter how hard or how long I drive it for.

The Brakes have been upgraded to Hayes Manual disc brakes for much more reliable braking for handling or when coming to a stop. Needless to say this car brakes and handles like a dream.

The 4 speed has been redone as well like everything inside the transmission has been replaced and comes with a 3 year warranty from Trans Masters on Encintas with new Hurst shifter new clutch and new flywheel. The rear end also has been 100% gone through with new bearings and axle seals and a 100% brand new 3rd member with stock gear ratio. If you desire and upgrade on the gear ratio it can be done for an additional cost.

Like I said everything new!!

You can comfortably accelerate into turns and also Brake into turns without the car getting out of shape compremising safety.

A Strut tower brace and Monte Carlo bar were also added to strengthen the front end and its extremely noticable and tight. This car makes zero noises under the hood or on the road. Drives like a dream and handles better than you may think.

If you have never drove a 4 speed Coupe and the Automatic is just not for you then this car is IT!! its so much fun its hard to erase the smile from your face when you drive this prsitine 1966 Mustang Coupe!!
